I personally think someone should make a mod which is simply a crafting table with a 4x4 or more crafting grid, it'd bring so many possibilities for new mods!

you also must make it destroyable as usual blocks.

So if you sail on high speed into beach , your boat could get a hole and break some ground. Losing ability to swim (starts drawn). And breaks some blocks.

You can change the amount of usable blocks for your ship/airship in the configuration file. I have seen videos where his block limit was changed to 4000, so I'm sure you could use the big pirate ship, if you have a fast enough computer.

The zeppelin mod is Work in Progress. It only handles 1024 blocks yet.

The big pirate ship has more than 1024 blocks. Without its sails it might be within the limit.

Just try or better: Build your own ship and show it to us ;D

@fanoftiersen Maybe mention before, i'm lazy to check, but you can increase the 1024 block limit in the config file, but this is as removing warrenty seals as it were, except when crashed you can reset :-), Really should have that in real life

Oh ok... a bit confusing.

The redstone repeater and pistons haven't got any function.

I just used them to decorate my boat. it's a motor engine (in my fantasy ;D)

No, they freeze like the rest of the ship. But they automatically start again when the boat returns to the world grid.

Water does not fill up when you direct your boat away from the start position.

So I had to build my boats completely above the water level.
