@screamobeast 1. oceano is deathcore (the good deathcore not like that shitty chelsea grin or asking alexandra bullshit) it has to do with the guitars mainly, most of their music is a breakdown not a riff, deathmetal has little to no breakdowns and mostly fast riffs with alot of changes in tempo :P 2. the new stuff is just as good as the old stuff. oh yea i forgot thats an opinion

Agreed, alot of the bands that are "core" are really just a bunch of guys right out of highschool, who are talented.. to a degree. Meaning, they actually cant write a full album worth of good music, and thats why this deathcore shit was made.. It takes a small amount of talent to write a deathcore song, and pretty much no talent to play them.

Any subgenre with "core" in it typically sucks. It is filled with a lot of crappy ass breakdowns, and like you said, is produced by noobs out of highschool that just like to scream like girls and make annoying sounds on a guitar. TBDM is melodic death metal. Why? They have death metal elements but are incorporated with 2 guitar melodies. It's probably the best type of music in the world.
