OMG !!!! I haven't heard this in years !!! My middle school rock band used to play the Ultimate Prophecy ...way back in the 70's. Imagine our band's excitement when one day we were practicing in our singer's garage [where else?] and up the driveway walks J.D Blackfoot himself! He lived in the neighborhood and heard us playing as he was going by the house! Really nice guy. Invited us to his house and saw where the band rehearsed .. and Tink's huge drum set ! That was so amazing !
I remember buying this album in Beanos record shop in Surrey Street for 50p! That was over 20 years ago, god I'm getting old!! Still a proud buy in my record colletion. The 2nd side is outstanding to say the least! They sure don't make em like that any more.
i knew j d blackfoot back in 1973 he was once known as jd the dj i saw him perform crazy horse live at the castle on n high st on the ohio state campus his drummer was dan waldron he went by the name tinker bell
I used to go to "Pool" parties in the Summer and J D and the band was booked sometimes or they played at some of the National Guard Armories in the area on the weekends. They did bigger venues as the band got more notoriety. We were the "stoned ones " right up front on the floor. Those were the best of times . J D always knew we were stoned and payed homage to us in a subtle way back in the late 60s. J D always had long dark hair w, a beard and a cowboy hat. All the women liked him.
On the same record label as Rush and Blue Cheer! Mercury is quickly becoming one of my favorite record labels!

Is this J.D The one who later when on to form ...just "Blackfoot'?? Kind of a 70's Cowboy rock band? This psychedelic stuff rules!!
