OMG! just like other fellow commenters, this help me save my dog. My dog was choking to death and just kept struggling to breath. I was panicking while my othe family members were doing absolutely nothing (because my dogs have history of choking in their own spit -__-) but this time was totally different! So I performed this and my dog stopped immediately! :D

i just performed the Heimlich on my dog and it worked. thank you so much. technology is amazing. dog chokes. google it. two minutes later my dog's life is saved.

This just stopped my Chihuahua from choking on raw hide. I had to watch twice- the left fist is important. Great job making a tutorial short and to the point! We didn't have a lot of time to watch a video once, let alone twice. Thank you!

Omg my doggy was choking on a meatball today and I freaked out and cried, but he got it down. Now I'm in total panic mode trying to figure out what to do if it happens again. Thanks so much for this video!

@NormanHorner Thats the same reason i watched this video! I give my dog his medicine in a meatball and i dropped a frozen one by accident and he nearly choked on it! Luckily hes a dachshund and is used to literally swallowing most of his food. I was practicing this manuever on him while he was on my lap (Very very gently ofcourse :p)
