this is like how some parts in brixton is in south london england right now... gangs guns murder, drugs ect. and its out of control.. ive lived in Buffalo, N.Y. for 5 yrs, and ive seen it there, its not as bad as brixton in south london trust me

5 people were just shot on 1 street like yesterday resulting in 2 homicides. Kids have been killed by AK-47's. Buffalo has one of the biggest disparities between rich and poor in the world. London hoods may have the same but they aint worse. lol

@H20654 I cant post links but it was in a United Nations report that came out on Al Jazeera, it wasnt saying that Buffalo has the worst poverty in the world, it had one of the highest rates of DISPARITY, meaning the gap between how much people have, and that it was race related

ive been livin near UB south campus for year and i had to pass through lovejoy area other day, it was scary, sad. houses are destroyed,,,i just felt i was in a third world african country.

Wow, as sad as this statement is, I agree. I lived on the west side, on Lafayette for 3yrs and have never lived in such a segregated city in my life...and a lot of residents don't seem bothered by it. Someone mentioned the fruit belt: it seems that a lot of neighborhoods off of the 33 thruway are dilapidated and poor as hell. Can you imagine if they brought back the Buffalo Central Terminal to its golden days?? Great architectural city with a large population of sh!theads. Sad.

Buffalo is way worse now,, I lived there for 2 years and worked as a Nurse at The VA Medical Center on Bailey Avenue,,, believe me,, it is worse!!! I could tell a lot of stories. The Police in Buffalo have their hands full, you can't walk down near the projects,,fruit Belt area,,, no way,, Guns, gangs,, and even Bailey Ave is very bad, which leads to the Fruit Belt area, and the projects. . It is too bad with all that is there.

But check the attitude of the "GANG" they were anti drugs. they were pro work, improvement. "Manhattan Lovers came down here so we had to push em...hahahaha yeah i was young but i remember the jackets and the faces. ....matadors,49ers,pythons. Pythons were i think the largest. maybe not toughest but largest.
