it is possible using 2 dimensions, its called worm oles, using the back of the paper. the worm hole uses a hole in the paper draw on the back side and another hole in the paper where you need to come out at

But there is no way for me to prove that I didn't just watch to the end first and lie about pausing when he suggested so I don't suppose there is really much of a point.

@MrFunnylicious The 6 corners are the 3 utilities and 3 houses, the 9 edges are the 9 required lines to connect the utilities to the houses and the number of faces is obtained from substituting both of these into Euler's Formula

Now you have to connect the three houses with three utilities using edges ( =9). When you put this in 3D, vertices become corners and edges become edges of the 3D figure.
