I've driven around a lap the Daytona Nascar circuit. It was pretty darn easy. I didn't go as fast as the proffecional nascar drivers did but I think that in 3 months I would be pretty good.
Then I went to Nurburgring. That was a whole different story. Nurburgring is really challenging.

these events are long cause theyre endurance races, you gotta make your strategy of how youre gonna save your car to get to the finish line in first place, but the most important thing are pits stops, any second lost there can cost you the entire race and send you to the back

the first series of racing that watched was nascar but over nxt few years i found out i never finished watching a race cause of boredom i hated f1 because of the noise but the first race of f1 i watched is magny cours 98 since then i never missed a race of f1 ...f1 rocks because they actually turn LEFT and RIGHT and it takes talent to drive an f1 car

Now that the cars bare no resemblance to the cars in the dealer showroom, I no longer watch NASCAR.
The road course racing Koni Challange between the Mustangs, BMW's and Porsche's is far more exiting. They actually are based on stock cars that you car buy on the showroom floor.

HEY FUCK YOU! well yes it does have a lot of red necks but when i went to daytona we were sitting next to millionairs with fancy cloths on. and every race just happends to get more viewers than the fucking super bowl! and u would never make it in a nascar! all the math put into it and 800 pounds of force being put on you for 3 hours at 200 mph! and yes on tv they look very slow and quiet. but in real life they are FAST AND VERY VERY LOUUD! but alot of red necks but hey. NASCAR do race on Road Courses too, its not all ovals. And they do it well too, Tony Stewart, Montoya, Busch Bros, Gordon plus more are all acomplished road racers as well as oval racers! Shame they dont do more road racing!

I dont care how much you hate nascar, if you went to a race and sat towards the front, you will love being there! This is the case with any motorsport. these events are long cause theyre endurance races, you gotta make your strategy of how youre gonna save your car to get to the finish line in first place, but the most important thing are pits stops, any second lost there can cost you the entire race and send you to the back
