Winning the Cup wasn't all Crosby, and not winning the Cup isn't all Ovechkin.The Caps just played a bad game 7, but either of those two teams could have easily went on to win it all. While they do have a weaker division, the Caps consistently are at the top of it. Both teams are solid and both players are exceptional, simple as that.

Forsberg was awarded every prize both team and personal in the NHL and since he is Swedish I know that they are the only team to have won the olympic gold and the world championchip gold in the same year and he is one of the few members of the triple gold club. he also has that famous shoot out goal against finland which won them the olympic gold. All this in a crippling, injury ridden 19 years.

Sidney Crosby is prolific his numbers last season alone showed that. So is Alexander Ovechkin, they are both amazing. When they both first came in the league. They did commercials having fun with each other, there is a video here on youtube showing them lighting and bringing a cake to Shanny on his birthday. They are two greats & the NHL hype machine has made this lame Sid or OV camp & people feed into it. I enjoy watching both players dominate and hope to do so for years to come!

I think they could have played better in the finals, but keep in mind, Henrik was injured beyond what would be tolerated in the regular season. They also had to reinvent their games in a single series because the refs weren't calling things consistent to even standard playoffs. Bruins won, hats off to them; but I don't blame the twins for the loss.

Sidney Crosby is prolific his numbers last season alone showed that. So is Alexander Ovechkin, they are both amazing. When they both first came in the league. They did commercials having fun with each other, there is a video here on youtube showing them lighting and bringing a cake to Shanny on his birthday. They are two greats & the NHL hype machine has made this lame Sid or OV camp & people feed into it. I enjoy watching both players dominate and hope to do so for years to come!

I think they could have played better in the finals, but keep in mind, Henrik was injured beyond what would be tolerated in the regular season. They also had to reinvent their games in a single series because the refs weren't calling things consistent to even standard playoffs. @Macracer202 But Crosby was on Canada you idiot, and Crosby got the golden goal so you should appreciate what he did. Plus he got the shootout winner against Switzerland-if he hadn't gotten that goal Canada wouldn't have made it into the knockout round. As it is we had to play a qualifier against Germany before we knocked out russia. btw watch a video called "Ovechkin gets caught diving" and you'll see why I have zero respect for Ovechkin. He wasn't even touched by anyone. Go watch it

@juzu4me You dont undertstand what macracer202 is saying, brah, even though he's good, crosby is a whiney bitch. You cant go saying "if crosby wasnt there, Canada wouldn't have won" because the game would've been different. Plus we are not talking about Ovechkin, that's another matter.

@makemylaughtersing I understand what both of you are saying. But the thing is, if you take away his first 2 seasons, he has stopped whining. Yes, he did whine but look at you whiny bitches whining about someone whining. You guys whine and whine and whine and whine about Crosby whining the first 2 seasons. But last year Crosby's NHL peers voted him the toughest to play against and the smartest player. You ovechkin dickriders just keep whining and whining and whining and whining and whining.
