I just orderded the book. I caught my eye in a shop and I didnt buy it then. But it cept creeping around in my head... So I just ordered it... This man is a total genius! Really it's almost like you can touch the animal and feel it's emotions! Wish I could buy some real artwork of Mr. Walton Ford, any suggestions where to look?

We took our kids to the San Antonio Museum for my college daughter's Asian Art studies. We'd never heard of Walton, but his work displayed there BLEW US AWAY! Loved the hidden surprises in every one of them. We were gasping and freaking out! Mr. Ford, you are a genius. We are such fans,now. I too wish we could afford your incredible art book. Alas, all we came away with were memories and a few postcards of your work:)

Yeah, it's really cool! No surprise that he's influenced by Audobon. But he has a unique, amazing twist to his art.

So absolutely beautiful. Too bad I'm not a millionaire and can't afford the book. Can Taschen please make a smaller affordable edition? Mr. Ford, if you're out there, you take my breath away.

I knew them both back in high school.  Of course Walton was known as just Walton back then.
