  • Claudine is about Claudine Longet.

  • number 4 song `when your gone was used by ron wood on his album 1234 and he named it red eyes and it is an instamental but sounds wicked, look it up

  • this is like time travel and I love it

  • it's a very good remaster, i bought it and you should do the same ! this is not abootleg to share. Sorry guys.

  • Easily the best band ever, although that point might be argued by fans of "The George Martin Orchestra" (who played practically every instrument on every record by "The Beatles" after 1965). These songs were good jams while warming up to make the album, but definitely not good enough for vinyl. As time proved.

  • Never heard this before....THANK YOU!!!!!

  • i thought the playing was great on that one but i loved heartbreaker, starfucker, and 100 years ago. after that i liked [but didn't love angie-the ''stpipped' version better] and liked but did not love dancing with mr. d. the rest of the album just wasn't up to the incredibly high standards set by the previous 5 albums beggers' banquet, let it bleed, get your yaya's out, sticky fingers, and exile on main street. these albums set impossibly high expectations, but try hearing exile disc 2,

  • johnallan, seeif you can find andrew's blues from 1964. the beatles were doing love me do and the stones were doing this! check out the 6:07 version of lowdown. the 10:23 version of out of control/papa was a rolling stone, the 5:04 version of dance little sister the citadel [from satanic's majesty's request] can't you hear me knockin 10:57 NYC 2003.and time waits for no one from it's only rock and roll.also check love in vain 6:45 1972. i don't know much but i know the stones!!!

  • they should have released some of these songs ther great

  • jeeze !! where the fuck was this ?? that album&the next was total shit but these track's are good.

  • @JohnAllanification i would agree with you when it comes to emotional rescue but some girls with beast of burden. far away eyes, when the whip comes down, respectable and shattered [listen to the lyrics on that one] was a great album. they couldn't release this as a double album when this was originally released?also exile on main st. disc 2 is amazing. why didn't they release this instead of the mediocre goat's head soup?

  • @jeffstetson good stuff (your comment) - constructive.. i'll have another listen to this record& the track's you've mention'd. lol i didn't know abt a eomst disc2. agreed on ghs as well.

  • @JohnAllanification i don't know if you can download the entire exile disc 2 but you can download pass the wine sophia loren, plundered my soul, i'm not signifying dancing in the light, so divine and others from that cd should pop up. check out midnight rambler the brussels affair, hell-raising frantic 12:56 and check my favorites beggars' banquet, let it bleed and sticky fingers. you will dig them if you haven't heard them.

  • @jeffstetson

absolutely.will do. .. hip to brussells affair (have it bookmarked & listen to it often)

i'm nut's abt heartbreaker from same '73tour - the 'superfly' -like bridge is nut's. it seem's as thought the band was bringing home the previous american visit. - '73 sound's to me as though the blow-use was at a more even level lol .. never spent time w/lib but alway's plan'd to (i let 'hot rocks' show me the vibe w/ the live mr) - perhap's now is time.

    we're in-sync,bro

  • @jeffstetson i loved goat head soup

  • is this available separately?

  • @swine74nope...gotta pay $30 at target

  • ez fantasztikusan jó album nagyon birom

  • I have stumbeled into a time capsial and I love it

  • Either the Stones should've released a blues/country album in 1978-79 or had released Some Girls as a double album.

Those are some quality tunes they left behind.

  • Thank you very much StonesCollector

  • hello

  • thanks for posting the complete cd!!!

  • Every track here is a cracker! This could be considered the Long Lost Stones Country album...They should've released it!!!

  • @179rich i agree rich

  • Talahassee Lassie - what a rocker! Love it, the best track on CD2 in my humble Stones collecting opinion.

  • Cheers, StonesCollector....an excellent job as usual!!! I got these Cds for Christmas along with the DVD and haven't stopped playing them but it's great to have it all on YT. Let's hope it doesn't get pulled by the 'authorities'!

  • Yep. I forgot. "StonesCollector" Thanks!

  • O ya, o ya ....

  • Some Girls should have been a double album, easily.

  • Awesome post, my personal favorite Rolling Stones album Thank You

  • Wow! If they had released all of this together it would have been like "Exile" with Ronnie instead of Mick T.....or maybe "Woodsies' Exile" ? Great stuff, my Friend! Very bluesy! Love it! Mostly Stu on piano at that point? Some Billy Preston maybe? I forget now.

  • @swiggy58a They have released all this...?

  • great song

  • GRACIASSSSSSSSS

  • Awwwwoooooooo

  • Thanks very much. I just wish that the Stones could have made the original "Some Girls" a double LP. It's been a long wait!

  • thank you so much!

  • Great post. Great stuff. Great!

  • great album, I'm back in 1978

  • Why didnt they add the disco-punk Dancing Girls? - its a stomper. (I'll take that one over Dont Be a Stranger)

  • @pbuotte Dancing Girls belongs to the Emotional Rescue sessions

  • I love it. The only thing I don't like is how Mick redid the lyrics and vocals to No Spare Parts - the original mumbly recording is much greasier.

  • Que c'est bon de se replonger dans la période "SOME GIRLS",merci d'avoir commercialisé "officiellement"ces 13 titres.Rien que du bonheur avec un M.Jagger au top.....

    Merci à StonesCollector

  • @stones2204 13 titres?

  • bom

  • @EvilAnticslave, mabe you are right, still....the song "We had it all" Richards got involved in it through Willie Nelson in 2004....it's a 1973 song, that is. But...:-))) Well, I'm just enjoying it. Like someone else here said, it got to grow on you and it does.

  • great album!

  • Excellent album, I think they got us fooled :-) It's a new one. Just listen to how it's recorded. Great songs. All of them.

  • @GusBolden These are all remastered, so the quality is much better and I believe Jagger re-did the vocals.

  • Do you think that I really care? Yes, Stones. There is something wrong, When Your're Gone. You win again! I love you too much.

  • brilliant, ballsy classic STONES...So Young indeed..Excellent!!

  • the guy who said "the rest sucks"are you high?or maybe too young to appreciate good music

  • @55pogue just comparing to the original 1978 versions... Only Claudine and Tallahassee Lassie are left unaltered. The rest he has new lyrics and those are not as good as the original. My opinion!

  • just excellent

  • it's as good now as when i got the alblum yrs. ago. J. Fallon WAS RIGHT KEEP ON ROCKN' JIMMY FALLON-MAN!

  • How do you finish off songs 33 years later in the same exact vocals? That is what is so amazing! The high rise apartments on the moon should have been released on the same day!

  • wooo ! I love this. my favorites are tracks 3, 5, 7(beautiful..), 8, & 10 :D That's only after a first listen though. The others will grow on me.

  • Awesome

  • None of em' compare to 'Plundered my soul' from the Exile redux. Just my opinion.sorry

  • Um, wow. Just wow...

  • FANTASTIC!I was blown away

  • About time this came out my bootlegs are so worn out they cant take anymore...i Love this.......

  • GCOUNDOU, not sure what you were listening to, but these songs are as enjoyable to me than nearly album they released after Some Girls. The version of "We Had It All", a Waylon Jennings classic is amazing. The cover of "Tallahassee Lassie" is great, but not as good as the Flamin' Groovies version. "No Spare Parts" is also a favorite.

  • 23:52 - WOW!!!!!!

  • So far there is zero suck on this disk... still listening...Mmmm. This is a real Rock N' Roll record.

  • finally original 1978 claudine released!! Rest sucks!!!

  • finally original 1978 claudine released!!
