The problem with Hitchens is that he believes in this ethno-cultural superiority complex. He refuses to acknowledge the huge amounts of racism that non-Whites in the UK endured over many years. He also refuses to acknowledge the fundamental nature of the Zionist 'state' in Palestine, based on ethnic cleansing, that kills huge amounts of Palestinian civilians, starves them and locks them in an open air cage.

I think his vitriol towards the BNP is too simplistic and fails to take into account changes in the BNP's support over recent years. However he's right that the British people will never vote Griffin into power. Unfortunately Griffin's past, the parties historical links to the NF and his tolerance of "old-hands" means the BNP has a limit. Griffin has done well to move the BNP more to the centre but he'll have to step asside at some point for one of the new breed of BNPers with less baggage.

Peter Hitchens, John Gaunt, Richard Littlejohn are all paid for. They quote BNP Resolutions, then describe them as Vicious Fascists. They go where the money goes and  sell themselves to the Devils that pay them, shame on them, they are the real Fascists who lie to colect their pay packets. What alternatives do they offer, NONE of Course because money comes first, however, money will not save them from what they say is coming, Left and right Fascists like these will pay when the reckoning comes

I wouldn't put it as strongly as that but you are right. Every daily has at least one commentator that says what everyone has been thinking (as Hitchens admits here) but signs off with the usual vile, evil, knuckle-dragging taunts about the only party that dares agree with them. The membership issue needed clearing up and is probably, ironically, what will push the BNP's policies into greater focus. Some ethnic minorities mourn the loss of british values as much as us brits.
