gothic music has nothing to do with emo. Its quite soft & sad as well. Check sopor aeternus. Their lyrics are very good & poetic as well. Its just a suggestion. Anyway, I liked the video :)
oh like the actual genre gothic? Um yeah I got enough of that through the literary genre this semster in school =P...maybe later...when I'm a little less sick of it.
the poem was actually written by a friend of mine who committed suicide last year b/c she was faced w/mandatory treatment for her anorexia.
um thanks? I'm actually kind of against using that kind of music b/c I get a whole bunch of comments about being an attn seeking emo which I can't STAND. Plus I hate that kind of music and the lyrics fit this one...we spend so much time running from life that we forget to enjoy it. Thanks for watching tho...
@elibeth121 yea it seemed kind of good for the topic, I'm not sure I find it calming more a little bit haunting but yeah def not hardcore rock metal for sure which would have been out of place I think. I can see where'd you get calm with. Unless you're being sarcastic in which case I'll totally pull my foot out of my mouth and admit to gullability.
