I'm going to say well done on this. You went out to have fun, you were slowed down a bit, but nothing stopped you from having that fun and that's what it's all about. The funniest thing was when I heard "should I air down?" Yep, that's a given, but again, you live and you learn and have fun along the way.
Does full coverage insurance cover shit like this? I did some serious damage to my STOCK 02 limited trying to get unstuck in 2 1/2 feet of mud/snow/ice in sub zero temps but don't know if I can claim it. There is a little body damage but mostly mechanical failures. I'm gonna guess no, ins will not cover it. Btw I live in pa..
@K24cab you are a total ass hole. Liberties never ever came with factory rock sliders. and how is it crapy? ITS A JEEP. If you are going to be a usless ass and bitch about something, atleast TRY to somewhat know what you are talking about you usless turd
WOW MAN!! I'm impressed that's some gnarly trail you guys were on, I WANT to do that in my liberty but it's my only vehicle and don't wanna chance it... looks like fun. good driving by the way.
Thats a nice Jeep... and I agree that a pair of Tru Trac's would have been helpful in the situation. A rear ARB Airlocker n' front Tru Trac would be IMO a fantastic combination for the liberty/KJ.
For the price of those Rubicon rims, he could've had a new locker installed. This video helped me realize that my KJ's next major mod will be a locking diff or at least a limited slip like the Detroit Truetrac.
those are nice all-season/summer tires.

So just because your crappy liberty came with factory rock sliders you assume it's a capable Rock crawler. Give me a break.
