i'm searching for a clip that has a actor waiting to be interviewed the director says "show me angry" the guy starts calm then "acts" angry then becomes angry for real and storms out he got carried away please post it made me laff
If he really wanted to love the sinner,(his daughter), he would have whupped her ass for being so inconsiderate in that maybe she might learn a valuable lesson. My parents belted me when I did mean and stupid things as young as 4 maybe 3.
Wow - very H&B-style character design on the father, and that's a classic Yogi-flat-on-his-stomach pose. I wonder if Dick Bickenbach worked on this short little film...?
I don't know Dick Bickenbach's name except as a late addition to the Hanna/Barbara MGM unit in the mid '50s. So he followed them to their own studio when MGM was shut down?
Yes, he was a layout artist for them, but I am pretty sure he did a lot of character design as well. I'd guess he's probably second in line behind Ed Benedict with regards to giving early H&B characters their looks; this guy, especially at the end, looks a lot like Bic's style.
If this is him, he must have done a lot of design, because even though I didn't watch much Hanna-Barbara stuff as a kid, I see what you mean about the guy's expression--I definitely recognize that look. I don't know where I've seen it, but clearly it was in my subconscious. Whoever it is, it's as distinctive as Chuck Jones's expressions.
did she kick him in the face?
