In every single photo that comes up of him; from the time he was young until the present day, you can see how Asian he looks. He looks like a 50/50 mix to me. It sounds like some people would like to take four or five of the top guitars today and have them all play stairway to heaven and decide which one plays it best. It must be 17-18 years ago during the Zoo TV Tour Lou Reed basically said if the Edge wasn't the best living guitar player he'd love to hear one better. Not one for hyperbole, Lou was commenting on what his EARS were hearing. Rolling Stone called it the "Edge Orchestra". Not guitar playing precision or speed - but sound.
