the only reason i say that is that the whigs do a much better job of connecting with their fans at shows. at a whigs concert, you feel like you are right there with them and you can feel like you are a part of whats happening - like you belong. whereas at a dead confederate show, there is a huge separation between the band and the crowd. it feels exclusive. At least regarding the shows i have seen here in Athens.
@purpledeer the rat is a very nirvana-esque song. Id classify them (if i had to) as a mix of like nirvana and pink floyd. The kinda bit of trippy musicianship of floyd but the darkness and rawness of nirvana
