Ahmadinejad stated that he wanted to erase Israel from the pages of history. This is supported by the Iranian student association and this statement is far worse than simply physically wiping Israel off a map.

Iran has signed the NPT, but does not disclose what is stipulated by NPT safeguards, which you haven't rebutted. Iran also has a track record of proliferation of conventional and non-conventional weaponry to terrorist organization, Israel does not.
Israel's nuclear capability is speculation. Just like India, Israel is not part of NPT.
If Iran has a different stable, democratic regime, it would be a different story.

The IAF bombed a N. Korean/Iranian backed nuclear facility in Syria back in September. Since Syria facilitates terrorism against Israel (prior to Israel being in the Golan Heights), they have to be dealt with.

1982 invasion was because of the PLO shelling N. Israel and the terrorist attack from Syrian-trained Palestinian fedayeen in Tel Aviv. The final straw was the attempted assassination by a PLO splinter group of an Israeli ambassador.
The Syrian facility was a nuclear military facility, hence not a soft target, thus not terror.
