good sample choice by TEAM DEMO & the EMOTIONAL RANGE showed by STALLONE in this clip is amazing. I wonder what his reaction would be if he woke up in the mourning wanting a BOWL of CEREAL & their was NO MILK ?? (lol)
Why doesn't someone upload a vid of the scene where Foxx gets knifed in the face by Wulfgar? The part where DaSilva is holding his hand to Foxx's face as blood pours from the wound, and screams at Wulfgar, "You're fuckin' dead! You're fuckin' dead! I'm gonna kill that mother fucker! You're fucking dead, you mother fucker! You're fucking deaaaaaaaaaaaad!" Stallone's scream echoes powerfully through the scene and gave me chills. This was one of his best film performances ever!
All of you people making fun of Stallone are taking this scene way out of context! You have to see the whole movie to understand DaSilva's reaction at this point in the story, and Stallone has plenty of other scenes - like the part where Billy Dee Williams' character gets knifed by Rutger Hauer -- which show just how good an actor he can be! "Nighthawks" was one of Stallone's best performances ever!
@44excalibur I totally agree! This is just trying to diffuse a situation in this scene, how can he be emotionally involved? does he know anybody on the train?
i just don't get it. why would UN delegates get on a tram with no bodyguards or police escort especially since the police know there's an international terrorist out there who just killed that british detective tracking him at a dining event they just came from, and why weren't wulfgar and shaka frisked and searched before getting aboard?
@locksmithite This was 1981, mate. No CCTVs, no real concept of terrorist threat, no high tech surveillance. In terms of counter espionage, 1981 was still in the dark Ages.
Hehehe Man, Sly sounds so involved, Dont You think?
PS I like Sly but his acting here is so funny, his emotions doesnt fit the situation, When his saying "Oh Christ, dont do it" he sounds like a kid whose replying to his parent wanting him to clean up his room "Son, clean up your room, Oh not again Mum, Ive cleaned it up last week" hehehe, By the way, thats one of the first movies I had on videocasette along with american ninja which Ive watched as a kid,

Sylvester Stallone has got to be the worst actor ever to have been nominated for a Best Actor Oscar.
