He's really INTO his hobby, and I don't have the same passion for the things he does, BUT my hobbies fascinate me to the same extent. That's why we call them hobbies!

I like his old videos but he changed. What changed long videos. The way he acts changed. I found that he became a pompous ass. He acts like he is the greatest thing since slice bread and when he was at the shot show he basically said he was the greatest thing since slice bread. yankeeprepper 2010 had amazing videos, some of the best out there. in 2011 there was a big change in direction. they became more negative, less about prepping, and more about his oppinions. the one of him boiling maple syrup was as boring as, well, watching maple syrup boil.
Nutnfancy led me to my Kel-Tec Sub 2000; for which I am appreciative. Before I buy anything I check to see if he has reviewed it. I enjoy his channel; but not as much as yours.
I will tell you why I can't stand him, he is a cocky thinks he knows it all. Everyone pointed out how bullshit his review was on the axe as a survival tool, how terrible the gerber axe he used was, and how bad his technique was. He actually muted a friend of mine who called him out, there was no cussing or insulting. He will never admit how wrong he was. Among other things, I can't stand him, but that right there drew the line.

Well i dont hate. Liked him in beginning, was somewhat disappointed in the "Im experienced leo sf paratroop but i cant tell" phase, was laughin when he claimed hes experienced outdoorsman yet cant sharpen knife, and i finally unsubed after he carried 50lbs backpack and a pillow for overnight hike. I drop to his channel ocassionaly, but usually i didnt make it trough 45min videos. He also talks too much. For the record i think now his channel is ok, exactly what it should been from the beginning.
I've always felt the same way. He seems like a nice guy who puts out quality videos. His videos absolutely have influenced my purchases. I have no idea why people hate on him.

I've never understood the hate either. I can care less about most of his videos and don't watch most of them but if I want a gun or a knife, I will watch all 40 minutes of his video to make sure it's something that I want. He has good info, just to much for me. Im a five minute video kind of guy. Heck, if you got a channel and let people post replies and don't have the "agree with me or you banded" complex you are on the right track as far as I see it.
I don't have a problem with the guy, I watch his videos now and then. The only thing that annoys me is the guy is a consummate narcissist, always posing, trying to look cool. It just rings kinda hollow at some level. Even his kid has commented that he's always posing for the camera in one of the vids. Not a big deal, as character flaws go it's far from the worst. Not someone I'd choose as a friend due to the annoyance factor, but as a reviewer of gear, pretty good.
I think your mistaking hate for being jealous. I just watched his PPQ video well how many people can afford this or how many people are trusted by distributors to take this item through it paces. Maybe hate and jealousy are close cousins anyway I agree with Dsarti.
Any prepper who can't take criticism is not worthy of being a prepper in my opinion, because they are more prone paranoia than having a mindset of critical thinking which is more important to prepping than anything else in my opinion. Nutnfancy is a windbag. He's "sold on himself". He believes his own crap.
The first time I saw hime, I told him exactly what I thought of him. He blocked me.....and I've never watched him again.
His "run and gun"...."tacticool bull shit" is just over the top. His "type" is common among many that put up "gun reviews." He is just an obnoxious turd. I don't have any use for him. He's the poster boy for ass clowns.

Dave - well said . . . there is no reason to hate anyone on YouTube . . . or be jealous for that matter. Nutnfancy does a great job on his channel and my recommendation is if someone doesn't like what he does than why watch . . . makes no sense. They should channel that energy into their own channel and "do it better" than Nutnfancy. It is a free country and YouTube is wide open. Same statement holds for your channel. You do a great job. I am looking forward to what you have in store for 2012.

Well i dont hate. Liked him in beginning, was somewhat disappointed in the "Im experienced leo sf paratroop but i cant tell" phase, was laughin when he claimed hes experienced outdoorsman yet cant sharpen knife, and i finally unsubed after he carried 50lbs backpack and a pillow for overnight hike. I drop to his channel ocassionaly, but usually i didnt make it trough 45min videos. He also talks too much. For the record i think now his channel is ok, exactly what it should been from the beginning.

Nice video...good points. He makes good videos seems like he has fun doing it along with his friends and crocket20. Maybe people just see there own lives and realized they listen to the wrong people and now they are in a bad or not as good situation and there jealous. I think he does a great job. And I find it interesting that so many people here know of him. I have not watched in a year or so, but if I need a review of something and he has one you bet I'll watch. I really liked the video on the "Sheepdog" mentality. Seems like a decent stand-up guy. And he fights for our country, I don't even have to like a person, but if they are in the military, they have earned my instant respect as an American. He makes a lot of money on YouTube? Well, God Bless America!

hell i like nutnfacy. at least you can learn something from his channel. thats why i like your channel. what gets me is ppl with 10-20 thousand subs that leave you comments saying hey I like your channel, I subed just to get you to sub to theirs. when all of their videos are the same, they just stand and shoot steal. for an example. If you went your whole life not knowing what a Bible was and you picked one up and read through it, you'd most likely be in tears laughing at how ridiculous it is. I think your right about haters...to be its like the old saying goes...if ya ain't got nutn good to say then don't say anything at all...I did make one comment on one of nutns vids one time...I was not being a hater but just simply told him I did not think some of his language in the depussification vid was appropriate since a lot of kids watch his vids...and as for the response...yes it was veri answering back for him in a very polite manner...but I do enjoy most of his vids...very informative

I've never understood the hate either. I can care less about most of his videos and don't watch most of them but if I want a gun or a knife, I will watch all 40 minutes of his video to make sure it's something that I want. I hope he makes millions off of YouTube one day. There are much bigger douches, BY FAR, on the friggin TV than nutn, and they make hundreds of millions of dollars. So few people seem upset by that but make ad revenue off of your internet traffic and watch out!

I don't have a problem with the guy, I watch his videos now and then. The only thing that annoys me is the guy is a consummate narcissist, always posing, trying to look cool. It just rings kinda hollow at some level. Even his kid has commented that he's always posing for the camera in one of the vids. Not a big deal, as character flaws go it's far from the worst. Not someone I'd choose as a friend due to the annoyance factor, but as a reviewer of gear, pretty good.

Any prepper who can't take criticism is not worthy of being a prepper in my opinion, because they are more prone paranoia than having a mindset of critical thinking which is more important to prepping than anything else in my opinion. But, than again. The idea of prepping at all is the realm of paranoia to some people though. lol.

I have always enjoyed Nutnfancy's videos(most anyway). I've never understood all the hate against his vids. The only thing I've never understood is his apparent hatred for all things H&K; nevertheless, the hiking videos are very interesting.

I don't mind the guy. He gets out and dues things that most of the people on here only talk about doing. I don't like that he's kind of a gear head but that's what his channel is about. So I ignore the knife and gear vids and just watch the shooting vids. People are childish. I will say however that some of his fans are worse than the haters. One word "tacticool".
