  • As a kid growing up in the N. Carolina in the 50's and 60's R&B became a major influence on my life and the lives of many African Americans kids. When I heard songs from the Fantastic Four, they brought out a sensitive side that the girls liked in a guy. From the house parties to the socials, these songs gave you the opportunity to get close to her body and her ear. Yes, Motown had many great groups in its stable. The two greatest lead singers that comes to mind are David Ruffin and James Epps.

  • "Darlin' I love you today, more than I did yesterday but not half as much as I'll love you tomorrow." What woman doesn't not want to hear that from her man?

Try it on her guys. I got 3 sons and two daughters to prove it:-)

  • This group was always in the shadows of the Great Motown machinery and therefore never did achieve acclaim, fame, etc. as the Motown acts but just by listening to this song, clearly you can see these guys were great. The lead singer is awesome.

  • This was the song of the love of my life, when we were young and so much in love. Life and stupid stuff kept us from living out the dreams we once had. Whenever I hear this song I stop and think of him, "they say that love comes and goes just like the morning sun but I love you so much more my darling than anybody could have have loved anyone". Although he is in Heaven now, I love him just as much now as I did then, Michael P. I will love you forever and a day.
