i have a question, i just got one of these about 2 days ago and it sounds like it"s underpowered to me.......meaning no bass at all, i was just wondering if there"s a way to change the amp inside and replace it with a more powerful one, to push the speakers properly and get it to sound a bit better.......because this is by far one of the worst sounding radios i"ve owned it"s not even in the same ballpark as my sony mega bass radio as far as sound quality

Can you play the iPod Class on this? It says you can on the Lasonic website but in the users manual says it can't. I just got mine a couple days ago and plugged in an iPod Classic anyway but the plastic fittings it comes don't really fit. One's too tight and the biggest one is too loose. Anyone know what's up???

yes it's loud enough for me to get an earache from it ! and I think I can stand pretty loud noise - based in the fact that my workplace is very noisey and this will cut right through that noise!!!

Sound is a lot better than Present day boombox's that you might buy new today but You wont find one one with the size of speakers and Bass and PORTABILITY that this has running on Batteries! and the ability to take almost any signal and amplify it just check out it's inputs!

its get's LOUD enough to hurt my ears, forgive me but what is a Ipod Nano is that like microscopic in it's size? this Lasonic come's with 4 adapters to fit 4 different size of them ipod thingy's but as you can see in my really short video -- I still play my cassette's. Mp3's is compresssed Digital Noise ,,, My Ears Are NOT Digital therefore I Will Stick to Listening to Analogue Music. When I get Digital Ears, Then I will listen to Digital Music !!!

i can guarantee you that a 256kb bitrate mp3 or higher is gonna have quite a bit more fidelity (and will contain more of the high frequencies) than a cassette tape.

these old ghettoblasters are great, but were never truly considered high fidelity...

lol that makes no sense. you can't actually hear a difference you know, because it gets converted back to analogue before it reaches the speakers. if it wasn't you'd just hear a continuous tone (actually a series of blips too fast to tell apart).

and honestly, all you get from the cheap analogue shit they make nowadays is signal degradation.
