  • yeah, he is a toolbag dolt, middle class snob who is trying to embarass peoples efforts for change.

  • Occupiers don't have anything are you dumb? they are just like the homeless shelter that you went to afterwards, except obviously the shelter is more developed and organized than occupy.

  • Holy crap i've watched a lot of OWS youtube videos, but that was the funniest thing i've ever seen. 2:22-2:29.

  • And check out the dude's liquor shelf in the very beginning. Maybe he's an asshole because he's a drunk.

  • Greedy people! They won’t even help the Homeless People of the world. Starbuck's, Au bon Pain, Soros all donating funds to this and a child is starving in the streets. Funds and goods that should help the homeless.

Oh I forgot. The occupier did give one pair of pants. What a generous group.

    Lefties EXPOSED!!!

  • Au bon Pain, uhh... i dont know who you guys are but I'm not buying from you guys either.

  • Oh Starbucks, i'll never buy product from you anymore.

  • Good, lose your hope, if it's that easy to lose then it was worthless in the first place.

Luck? No opportunities? I know how it feels to have nothing to eat for days, be kicked out of your home, to be cold, my family made sacrifices, I made them as well

We didn't complain at others, we did anything to get a buck and survive, cleaning literal shit and sleepless nights, years later now I can even have a computer. You have the opportunities, luck has nothing to do with it

    Also: /watch?v=OAOrT0OcHh0

  • Easy to lose? Oh boo hoo you had it bad, many people had it bad, don't lecture me. I lose hope because people like YOU waltz around acting like these occupiers are the worst people ever when I've watching my shite generation do NOTHING for years and now that they're finally standing up and using their voice, people like YOU feel the need to put them down and say dumb shit like "good, lose your hope." My hope is lost because there are more people like you out there. Wake up.

  • @starf0rtress Boo hoo? Shove it up your ass. You made an assumption about me and I corrected. I said it clear I do not care for anyone's sympathy. Way to miss the point.

You see, I'm not like you, I can see there are people who are truly needy, without even a sleeping bag or bread, and then there are people who still have basic things but still bitch about them.

These protests are abused by cynics, much like you, not as much as they were before at the date of my link, but still being abused now.

  • Hmm no thanks and please grow up. I don't want to hear your pathetic sob story. You're bitching about me making assumptions about you when you're making assumptions about people you've never even met. -snort- Give me a break. You're saying that people have to have NOTHING in order to be in agreement with this protest? Obviously you don't get it at all, it's not about that.

It's about the HISTORY of this situation and the consequences of it.

  • Oh btw, your video of that ignorant Glen Beck wannabe .. just wow. It shows how truly ignorant you are. Yes. This "man" knows everything about these kids and their lives, and what they've had to do and sacrifice. There are people out there who DID work hard, who didn't major in "Bitterness Studies" (Jesus, what a tool) are not able to find jobs. It must be nice to think you know everything and have been through everything. Please take your ignorance elsewhere.

  • @starf0rtress This man is making a generalization that was pretty spot on at the time. Much like you are making your generalization of saintifying the group. Neither of you, him, or me know absolutely everything about these people, but enough to form opinions.

The problem is you refuse to see there are, in fact, some people in these protests who do not belong, and lash out when it's mentioned.

Just like he cannot say everyone in the protest is a cynic, you cannot say everyone in them is needy.

  • Excuse me, I never made a generalization; if these people are doing something wrong then by ALL means.. PLEASE stop them.. but last time I checked protesting was not a crime. As a matter of fact I DO believe it's supported by THE CONSTITUTION.

    WHy do some people not belong if they are all fighting for the cause? You have to be in a certain tax bracket to attend protests now? Oh please. I didn't say they're needy;

  • let me reiterate; WE'RE FIGHTING AGAINST THE MAJORITY OF THE WEALTH BEING HELD BY THE MINORITY OF THE POPULATION.

REGARDLESS OF CLASS OR SOCIAL STATION.

IN HISTORY THIS HAS DONE HORRIBLE THINGS TO CULTURES AND SOCIETIES AS A WHOLE.

And I'm PRETTY SURE that our constitution allows for peaceful protests.. actually I'm quite positive. So again, the ONLY thing this guy is proving is what a toolbag dolt he is.

  • And getting back to the point; why is the toolbag waltzing around asking people who CLEARLY have nothing [WITH THEM (for the challenged individuals who assumed I was saying that they all ALL HOMELESS)] instead of going to the local mall?

  • I'd also like to point out the laughable assumption that all the occupiers are privileged grad students sitting around at Starbuck's on an iPad. Dear god PLEASE grow a brain. PLEASE.

  • Attempting to make your group is all but poor poor victims is a generalization of the same vein you are accusing me of doing.

I'm not going to bother to explain how you do have the same opportunities, but I will say this, even if that's your goal, you are protesting against the wrong people. Wan't to occupy something? Take it with the government, they are the ones who were elected to look over our rights and well being and just end up selling themselves and us to the best bidder.

  • @starfortr3ss So..

Generalizations that make your group look good: OK.

Generalizations that make your group look like hypocrites: Not OK

What a surprise, a double standard.

Hot milk helps me sleep at night.

  • @starfortr3ss The people who refused to donate are visibly not in that situation. They have many things in their protest but only one had the decency to give and not act like a hypocrite.

These are the people you should be angry against. The ones who have and still act as if they are miserable masking it through protests for the sake of taking with no intention of sharing.

And sorry, I'll take my own experiences and large sample of comments that it is Some of these people are needy, not Many.

  • More generalizing. The Occupy movement Im with is nothing like this "journalist" portrays in any of his smear pieces. It seems like he only shows the morons. Why is that?

  • @peskar218 Why? For the same reason other "journalists" use smear pieces to portray those who oppose the Occupy protests as morons, too.

    Manipulation of people's perception.

At least this channel uses a hidden camera to get more accurate footage of some of these people's actions and reactions.

  • pretty cool

  • @starfortr3ss I don't understand why you are literally typing again what I wrote.

People who rely on shelters for aid are the actual needy, that is, once again, literally what I wrote, read it again.

If you want to pretend the occupiers are people who rely on shelters though... well then, I think the naivety might be coming from your way.

  • what was the point in asking the food tent to donate food to a homeless shelter when the food tent is already providing 3 free meals per day to the homeless?

  • Take the basket somewhere else, say your local mall, and show us how it is supposed to work. This is amazing investigative work you've done, be proud.

  • You went and asked the homeless Occupiers to donate to a homeless shelter.

PS Homeless shelters and MAXED OUT.

250 youth beds in NYC for 3800 homeless youth!

  • @starfortr3ss "Poor people who are protesting... what they have is ALL they have"

There is a difference between those who choose to be "homeless" and "poor" and those who are truly in need. As evidenced in other videos, when offered jobs, the OWes uS people refused to even try to get a job (okay, one did try and was hired).

  • Merry Christmas, Occupy Asshats!

  • Happy new year to you and your family

  • @starfortr3ss Wat?

They are there by choice, and in much better situations than people who rely on help from shelters to survive.

Not asking people who aren't struggling? He put in donations from himself in the basket. Taking from the poor? Asking for a donation is not taking, moreover the items ended in a shelter, not in his pocket, this is anything but taking from the poor, it's asking the spoiled to give to the actual poor and needy.

  • @HCSR2 Oh yeah. Those people you see in the Plaza are clearly "the spoiled." What with their "hats", "shoes", "folding chairs", and "food" (day-old baked goods that would have gone to the trash had they not been donated).

Again, I would like to hear from the Bread for the City folks; I doubt they share your opinion. Very generous to give the organization credit here. I'm sure they can rely on your unanimous support during the next round of cuts to housing services/ homeless outreach.

  • @UGetTheGasFace Yes, they do in fact have hats, shoes, chairs, tables, tents, food and many other things pictured in only this video. Compared to many who do not and rely on the shelters to get anything, shelters these people themeselves refused to donate to.

They are spoiled. They act as if having those things made them misserable.

  • Nice try at discrediting the occupy movement - now why would an organsation such as yours want to do that then?

  • There are givers and takers in very crowd, it doesn't matter how much money you have.

  • America is like a Pot Luck dinner. Some people are excited to make a good dish and don't mind sharing. The #OccuTard is the typical indignant a-hole that shows up ready to eat.

  • This santa guy should have collected for the homeless he just met. The film maker was dishonest - used a hidden mike and obviously people did not know they were being filmed. If you want to shoot the truth - start by being honest yourself.

  • @gerrystiling These Fleebagging Terrorists need to occupy some coffins

  • @gerrystiling "film maker was dishonest - used a hidden mike and obviously people did not know they were being filmed" Are you saying that people would have acted differently if they had known they would have been seen by others?

Isn't the true measure of a person how they act when they think nobody's looking?

  • @bsabruzzo That's a good point. I think it's how they act when people are looking and how they act when they think people are not around. I think also how a person acts over time measures their honesty.

Society is messed up. Not much honesty in the world today.

    Thanks for your comment. :)

  • No, you see Starbucks is different from other greedy corporations because it's cooler, and has a younger hip buyer base than stuffy old General Motors or Wal-Mart, so that makes them okay.

  • Did Bread for the City knowyou were making this video to attack protesters? Can't imagine they would've taken part had they known your real intentions. This video may resonate with a few pompous, entitled jerks. But I think you are overestimating the number of people who will find it amusing when people, in response to mockery, state humbly & earnestly they have little/nothing to donate because they're homeless!

Funny would be sweater dude trying his stunt at today's Dead Prez show in McPherson.

  • Rich white guy surprised that people protesting their poverty are too poor to give donations. What a masterpiece of journalism.

  • Oh my God I love you man! lol It's almost too easy though, isn't it? Well done and Merry Christmas!!!

  • She will be there forever!! Looking for work or actually working is out of the question. Good to know she has a 5 year plan.

  • WOOHOO! hey how did it smell while you were there? Like Bob Marleys hair?

  • 2:22 hahahahaaa!!!! bet they loved that wee contribution!

    merry christmas aim!

  • @Ecosse57 That was my favorite part, I busted out laughing!

  • Great work Ben - thank you and God bless.

  • 1:02 /watch?v=H-Q7b-vHY3Q

  • Merry Christmas and god bless

  • Starbucks isn't a big corporation?

  • @PseudoAdministrator

No you see it makes perfect sense, youre only a big corporation if deemed so by homeless people. If you donate money to them then of course you arent big. See? Totally coherent.

  • @PseudoAdministrator They get a pass. They are liberal.

  • Mental note: I'll never go to Au Bon Pain nor Starbucks again.

  • @jepst41 Don't forget Men's Warehouse.

  • The hypocrisy of the occupiers exposed once again. Good work aimaccuracy! Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and may God bless.

  • @NAGGERNUTZ Amen.

  • @pfarnac1 "Not sure what's hypocritical about the poor/disenfranchised not being able to afford a donation" How about irony, then?

The poor on the "right" contribute thier time, money and food, even when they have little. An entire inpoverished town in Ohio take tuns working to help others.

Here in the OWes uS movement, there are people who could get jobs, but refuse. They choose to be protesting rather than actually helping or working.

    There's your irony.

  • @bsabruzzo You know, at some point, you people will have to make up your minds. Are there or aren't there jobs? You can't bash the gov't for not making more jobs at the same time you criticize its people for not having them. And 70% of the people at Occupy DC (McPherson) have jobs. If this dipshit were wise, he would have gone at night when all those people get out of work and come down. Btw, what you described w/ the Ohio example is exactly what happens at Occupy. Check it out for yourself.

  • @pfarnac1 "70% of the people at Occupy DC (McPherson) have jobs" Then they should get some videos out or something... or at least show up for the camera's. The one's that are representing keep saying they can't find work and are "99%". That math doesn't work if there are 70% of them with jobs... (30% of 99% is 29.7%).

My mother's hometown has loads of work in the mining industry... coal or nat. gas. That'd employ all of the OWes uS people on video and then some.

  • @bsabruzzo Those jobs require skills, and they need a place to live and transportation. All while knowing someday you will come along and insist they do not get Medicare or social security some day.

99% includes many small business owners and people with and without jobs. It's not just a slogan.

  • @toyotabedzrock "Those jobs require skills" And yet the towns are filling with "unskilled workers", who get training.

"they need a place to live and transportation" Ah, so true, which is why these once small towns are booming and falling behind on expanding. Imagine if now construction workers and service workers also went there to meet the new demand...

  • @toyotabedzrock "99% includes many small business owners and people with and without jobs. It's not just a slogan." But mathematically it is a slogan, as the "1%" includes the same "small business owners" as you claim are in the "99%" (they are attacked by the protestors carrying the signs... watch the many videos).

  • Merry Christmas, Ben and AIM. Well done.
