I never realised before why I loved it so much then I realised, it's exactly what you said.. reminds me of being young when I got so excited about going on trains and I'd have my face glued to the window the whole time.. scenery you don't see anywhere else :).

sometimes ago, on youtube there was a video by michael gondry explaining how he didi this video. all i can say is that the first video was several sheets of paper pasted each other and the the video was drawn by gondry with a pencil, but only the main beat line...the train trip cames after
