  • love this movie

  • true connoisseurs of animation do prefer 2D over 3D movies.. they leave more space to your imagination, they make you dream more, they let you appreciate better the drawing from its very little flaws. 2D is the language of fairy tales.

  • I wonder what kind of gruesome death THIS Disney villian will befall. Hahaha

  • T_T don't remind me

  • ooh! I know! He- nevermind. don't wanna spoil it!

  • Yay animated movie [:

They are 100 times better than 3D ones

  • i know, right!? i <3 the animated ones!

  • she is a cute frog

    and i also want 2d

  • 2D animation films is the true magic of Disney. XD

  • I so agree with u :D

  • im so happy that Disney's FINALLY making another 2D movie!!!! i miss the old stuff like Cinderella and Lady and the Tramp. classics!

  • Please PAY the money to see this movie everyone. We need to let Disney know that we want more 2D animated films. We all need to bond togethe to help save real art and the artists who work hard to create these. I'm so sick and tired of 3D animation I could barf!!!

  • AGREED!

  • my dad worked on this movie no joke

  • i LOVE how its old-style, like cartoon movies from the 90's and before. im really looking forward to seeing this with my girlfriend haha

  • December 11th

  • Time will tell if this movie succeeds, but if it does it will prove there's still a market for 2-D animated films.

I love the work of Pixar and Dreamworks, but they wouldn't have come about without the work of their ink-and-paint ancestors!

Anyway, it's cool that Disney now has their first African-American princess. Sure took them long enough!

  • 1:44, that's Naveen and Tiana right? Riding in the carriage? Does that mean they DO become human again? Because I read somewhere that they stay frogs.

  • Yes that's them, they both become human again and have their happy ending. ^_^

  • they become human in the end.

  • Now this is how you make a Trailer

  • I have the junior novel. It will be a classic.

Then again, aren't all 'classics' by a matter of opinion? Who is anyone to say whether this will or will not be a classic?

  • Yay! This is how we want disney to be! With classics..

  • Now that's how you make a trailer

  • Man that's a way to make a trailer.

  • sadly i do not think this movie will become a classic.disney has been away frm classics 4 too long.most of disney's classics were made in Disney's early/golden years.

  • I agree with the first part of your comment but not the second. The most popular and acclaimed films were made during the Disney Renaissance.

  • What about the Disney Renaissance?

  • Well you think WRONG!!

  • only time will tell..disney isnt as good as it used to be but im happy their keeping the tradition alive

  • sadly i think this princess will not be counted as a classic. Disney is returning to 2D after too long.all the classic movies and princesses were made during the early/golden ages of the Disney.

If u think i am wrong feel free to reply to my comment

  • @sake197

    i agree with you.

  • i like it!!! i must watch it!!!

  • Devastated that someone thought that Jasmine from Aaladin was black...wow. She wasn't black!

  • yay, the first black disney princess, luvin that! (wish the prince was black tho, but that okay) i cant wait to see it :-)

  • must watch people.

  • oh and did anyone see this trailer in the theatres via digital projection? the classics at the beginning looked incredible! they need to re-release all of them with todays modern hd projectors.

  • i really hope this is the first film of many in a new disney animation era with songs. the way it used to be like aladdin, the lion king, beauty and the beast, little mermaid, etc.

don't get me wrong, I love pixar, but I loved the SONGS!!!!

  • yay i cant wait!!!!

  • For anyone who's wondering, the music used in this trailer is called "Flight of the Imagination", by Future World Music.

  • I can't wait. :D

  • For anyone who's wondering what the music in this trailer is, it's called "Flight of Imagination", by Future world Music.

  • This looks so awesome, finally, a return to traditional animation.

  • Have you ever noticed that this is the first BLACK disney princess? They had white (snow white, Cinderella, sleeping beauty), Chinese (Mulan & Mulan II), Arabian (Aladdin), French (Beauty and the Beast), Submarian (The little Mermaid), and Native American (Pocahontas).

This is a pretty big thing for me...A black prez, and a black princess.

  • i'll go see it

  • I cant wait to see this, the frogs are so cute :)

  • finally a black princess i dont think disney has ever had one my little sister will love this movie

  • When I found new movie call "The Princess and The Frog" coming out in fall. I was like geez it kind of weird because she is african support be marry to black man but white man. I don't know how these people react to. Because I saw Princesses movie might have same color. I don't like the idea to kiss frog that pretty gross. I wish I want to change it Black Princess should live in Africa and marry to black prince with kingdom.

  • Prince Naveen seems like he's going to be a pretty funny guy. Which is refreshing since most princes (and princesses for that matter) in these types of stories are totally bland and lacking in personality.

  • Princes (and men in general) are incredibly difficult to animate, because you want them to look good, but not feminine (meaning they can't be drawn with distinctive eyes and lips etc). The prince was actually supposed to have a much larger role in Snow White (the first disney movie), but they had to cut it down because he was so hard to draw. Since then (as you observed), they keep them in the background mostly (except obviously for Aladdin, bu tthe Genie was the real star of that movie)

  • @ MerlinParish.

You've got a good point about animated men. However, what can solve the feminine issue is giving them some sort of a teen look, almost androgynous, but still quite masculine (it sounds paradoxical, but it isn't really if someone figures it out, as with Aladdin).

  • º[]º oh my god *o* this is really fantastic very thanks for the video ^-^

  • i always wanted disney to make a movie with a black princess! yay my wish has been fulfilled! =)

  • finally a black princess loooool

  • what about jasmine from aladin

  • arab :)

  • i was just thinking that

  • Gotta see it!
