  • Our nation building and interventionism got us into hot water. Peoples abroad do not hate us for our freedoms, they hate us for our hubris. Democracy cannot be foisted onto others not ready and willing to assume the responsibility such entails.

  • One minor problem with Mr. Sayet. Sadam Hussein was not involved with the attacks on 9-11.

  • Evan Sayet gets it...

  • "Here's how the left thinks: Take my word for it im a conservative"

  • no facts, just his herasay of what he thinks the left thinks.

  • it's a shame how uninformed these simple minded right-wingers are

  • I agree with about half of what he says. Liberals tend to have a very holistic, childlike mentality. But that doesn't make conservatives right.

  • @graaaaaagh Read the Constitution....Conservatives are more "correct" than libs...

  • @cptphilb No they aren't. You guys think that something has to be written out in one of the ten amendments for it to be a right, you go back and read the constitution. Read Paine, the federalist papers,

  • @lambchowder2 Rights come from God...the Constitution doesn't "grant" rights, it was meant to PROTECT them....If you mean "rights" like "Right" to a job, "Right" to a home, etc.etc.etc.....Those are NOT rights, they are merely "entitlements"...the word "Right" has been bastardized to mean anything someone wants, as long as someone else is paying. Unions would dearly love "Right to work" wouldn't they?

  • @graaaaaagh What you forget is that no is ever going to be all right, all the time. That is literally not humanly possible. That is why conservatives nominally embrace what Tom Sowell calls "The Tragic Vision." As the Apostle Paul put it "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Conservatives are only right in the sense that we are trying to maintain on a lot of things, we can't actually solve a lot of problems. We are right only in the sense that we are not actively trying to...

  • @graaaaaagh screw things up. I once heard someone say that civilization is the crust on the volcano. Unfortunately, what we call liberals (which are actually progressives, in the ideological sense, not the philosophical sense) are convinced that instead of lava there is creamy nougat. That if we just strip away all those elements everything will be perfect. Now does that make conservatives right? Not at all, the difference is that conservatives understand the difference between right and wrong.

  • @pittland44 creationism in schools, deregulation, tax breaks for the job creators (how can the rich invest with taxes, its not like they're rich or anything), more military every year. If there were no bigots or religious friction the world could hardly be better. If we embrace what you describe, in 1000 years people will still whine about welfare. If we did before, we'd still be fighting and dying for monarchs.

  • @graaaaaagh I could say that people should strive to be like children because we sour as we age, or I could point out the supreme naievete of "culture wars", treating ambitious capitalists like paragons of humanity and trusting them to sort things out as they continue to enrich themselves and string workers along

  • Its sad, because jews/christians have become so caught up in pointing there finger at evil, that as soon as the wolves are ready, they will let the flock have there voice along with the gun. Servants of jehovah need to not loose sight of God. As jesus said "a kingdom devided will fall", not might fall, but will fall. The devil wants us to kill each other. He hates all of us equally. Perants need to start training there children up in the ways of The LORD.

  • Not just Derrida. Marcuse, Foucault, Gramsci, Adorno, Fromm, Horkheimer, "The Frankfurt School", "Neo Marxism", "Cultural Marxism", "The Long March Through the Institutions".

  • One word: Derrida. It all goes back to him.

  • @TheAntiEgalitarian Unfortunately no. It was Swiss watchmakers son who began so much of this nonsense: Jean Jacques Rousseau. He began this line of thought which was picked up by Derrida and many many others since.

  • "least imperialist".... Yup just overthrew dozens of democracies worldwide!

  • @TheEthanwashere wikipedia "Covert us foreign regime change actions"

Imperialism is about expanding military and political reach. You put up an embassy in Iraq the size of two football fields and have littered the world with bases. Julius Ceasar could only wish to be so imperialist.

  • His plain speech is incredibly eloquent.

  • kaaaboooooom!

  • this makes sense. liberals are like children

  • Yep. He's definitely brainwashed.

America IS Imperialistic, evil, and world-dominating.

  • @MrVirtualCoder ahhhh, spoken like a true mindless liberal!!!! quit looking through your navel !!

  • @cptphilb Politics are mere illusory. I don't take ANY political side, and so, my statements are not based on any philosophical background, neither any political ones, but on reason itself.

  • @PartRamses How old are you? Because Liberalism is everything this guy says it is. And it is older than me and I bet I'm older than you.

  • Note to people watching this from my playlist: I don't agree with everything he says about the US being the least imperialist power, or about "helping america" by invading afghanistan. Now the point of that analogy wasn't that invading afghanistan helped america, but that it was PERCEIVED to, and his hardcore "liberal" friends didn't want to do something that was perceived to help america.

  • @fringeelements lol i was wondering how could you agree with the whole war thing

  • @fringeelements you either fight them over there...or fight them over here...hey..why didn't we wait for the japs and germans to invade before we got involved in WWII?????

  • @cptphilb ...because they opened by fighting over here. because the japanese had a huge military and naval forces. because wwII was a real war and a real threat to our real allies? do details mean nothing anymore

  • @lambchowder2 They didn't "fight" over here. The Japs bombed a Naval base we had in the Territory of Hawaii. The next day, FDR declared war on the Japs (makes sense) AND the Germans (huh?). So, you're advocating war when are allies are threatened? When another country has a "huge military and naval forces"? WWII started in Sep. '39..if we were concerned for the threat to our allies, why wait until Dec. 41????

  • Excellent...thanks for uploading!
