Bernard easy. But sullivan would beat both. Look at the 4x100m Freestyle race at beijing. Phelps and Sullivan both lead out for USA and AUS. Sullivan touches almost a whole body length in front of Phelps.

k no not easily.sullivan needed a world record to beat phelps off the relay.phelps went a 47.51 which is one hundredth off the previous record before sullivan swam.a body length at that level is said to be equal to 8 tenths and sullivan didnt go under 47.i think if phelps really put his mind into sprinting he could have been a huge factor in the 100 but he was more distance oriented at beijing.

Bernard is a typical frenchman (rude). At the end of the 100 free what does he do, but sit on the lane line, for those of you that are not swimmers, that is one of if not the rudest thing to do in competitive swimming, or just swimming in general. Hanging on to it, fine, but to sit on it is just inexcusable. I would of thought the loss in the relay would have taught him something, but i guess it didnt.
