bas, I have a couple of questions for you, me and my father we are thinking about importing a hobie wildcat to here where we live, brazil, we never sailed any f18 catamaran, not even seen any, so we have no idea about how to use many features of these boats, but our main concerns are: 1. what is the secret not to capsize these boats on a turtle way. 2. how do you use the mast rotation feature? does it give a big increase on the boat performance?

If you are starting on the WildCat it will take time to discover all trim options of the boat. . He has developed a tune-guide. Last week we sailed around Texel and the waves were like 3 meters. The boat was diving all the time and very hard to control. Every cat will pitch pole eventually but Mischa say you need to over pull the main.

There's nothing like sailing in big winds and cold to seriously wake you up ... especially when the spray slaps you in the face on a beam.

I just did some ocean sailing(windsurfing) in 30+ winds and Small Craft Advisery last week, but you two make flat water sailing look just as much fun. Good job, great video.

PS: Don`t bother too much with "expert advice", this sport seem to have an abundance of self-appointed gurus. In your next video do some jibes.
