  • GRRRR!!! I HATE that they messed with the guitar solo!! Give me the ORIGINAL solo and leave this one out! It takes away from the feel of the song! sigh

  • This is the only version of "Let it Be" that should ever be played! Whenever the other one comes on, I'm yelling at my Sirius(they should know better) radio like an idiot! I wish they never made the other version!! I'll go back to work know.

  • THE BEATLES BABY........ Daddio, Moms!!!!

  • God created Light

Chuck Norris bored as hell for entertainment created the Beatles x'DDDD

  • let it be my fav lp but dirty maggie mae is such a suckie song haha

  • i've got a feeling is a masterpiece

  • Is This Recorded From an LP?

  • Come on everybody, just "Let it Be"

  • Whats with the not as jokes compared to other versions guitar solo's guitar solo?!

  • One of the greatest songs every written even better dare I say, than Yesterday.

  • This version of "Let it Be" is no good. Too much going on, and I heard Paul was very dissatisfied with all the addition that either George Martin/Phil Spector added. I like the version on Beatles 1 better

  • @lifestraight Have you listened to the Let it Be Naked album? I bought it couple of months ago and its brilliant. It original version of the song like the Long and Winding Road and not the jazzed up Phil Spector one that Paul hated so much.

  • This is what I wish people would do.

No remixes of their songs, just Let It Be.

  • let it be has the best guitar solo

  • r.i.p john lennon

  • @beatlemania252 Don't forget about George Harrison either! :D

  • everybody had a wet dream?!

if i heard that correctly then...that's so John.

    x)

  • It's just way too long since I've listened to Let it Be!

  • lennon despised let it be (the song).. i think it's a great number, if a bit ponsy!! mind you he despised the whole album..

  • He never really despised 'Let it be', he was just in his "Primal Scream Therapy" at the time.

  • A lot of people said he always was harsh with their stuff and his solo work. Said he never felt his stuff was good enough. Horrible outlook to have...

  • @BeadleBelfry John or Paul?

  • I find it very ironic to argue with an album called 'Let It Be'.

  • ha so true.

  • @MoonbowPro

Orignally the Beatles' "Let It Be" ablum was titled "Get Back" esp. Paul was wanted the group returned back to their roots and early music..but, it changed as the ablum was recorded

  • @MoonbowPro Good point.

  • wow why you guys complaining? just enjoy the music jeez.

  • Dont confuse this 'take' of let it be with the 'take' recorded the next day in the EMI -the single version has a different guitar part from harrison and is slicker anyway! Listening to these brilliant remasters it is clear that spector could have created a richer dynamic mix- he messed up that original mix big time! Thanks for posting!

  • i never noticed ringo softly tapping the hi hat around i minute. superd remasters

  • let it be is the best song ever

  • no i've got a feeling is! lol

  • It sounds like the angels singing but the Beatles sings Best!!!!

  • Thank you!

  • Who cares about a phone sound being in a song. It just gives the song character. Let it Be is an amazing album regardless. It sounds really good here. Cannot wait to get the remasters.

  • The Beatles don't make mistakes. People make mistakes thinking the Beatles have made mistakes.

  • that was like the greatest chuck norris joke not about chuck norris

  • comment ftw

  • Ah, that certainly is about as perfectly factual a pronouncement as can be asserted. Kudos, JPS!

  • they didn't remove ANY performance related things... just fixed poor edits, etc.

  • The producers said they wouldn't take out any recording features. Which is why there's still a 'CHORD. Fucking hell...' in Hey Jude.

  • Ok but there are still some things that could've been fixed such as the hiss sound at the beginning of "Yes It Is", some kind of reverb/hissy-like sound at the beginning of "Don't Let Me Down", also John's "life of ease" and "all we need" in Yellow Submarine is still inaudible. The volume of John's voice could've been raised. I don't consider this remixing since bass and drums were raised. That goes for other bits of vocals that are still nearly inaudible.

  • That's because these aren't remixes. They're remasters. Two totally different things.

  • I know the differences and acknowledged it in my previous post. I understand remasterering has caused drums and bass tobe louder, but it's also caused vocals to be louder as well. The dynamics were altered. I don't think making background vocals clearer would've been remixing. Removing hiss (part of the job) also isn't considered remixing. Those were parts of the remastering job. It's possible these hisses could not be removed. I just wonder how other artifacts could be removed and not those.

  • @MeanMrMustard1 Every time they re-mix a classic record, they bring some things up and leave other things down. It's a remaster according to the engineer's ears that is hired to do the job it would seem. The Who remasters back in the 90's really fucked with the original releases. On "had Enough", there are two horn parts. One is up front and one is in the back. Instead of fixing this, they reversed it and now the back is in the front and vice versa. WTF?!

  • Thats an open string on the guitar as he switched position... and you shouldnt complain about stupid things, especially if you dont know what youre talking about.
