@DoktaDrey The championship mode is easy, the controls are wonderful & every race is different as the track deforms.

Wow, looks like a lot of fun. Think I'm gonna get myself a copy. I've been a huge fan of the original and this seems to have a similar feel. I wonder how this edition compares with the arcade version (sega rally 3).

I just got this today for 18 dolors and was wondering, how do you get new paint jobs? I already have three for the subaru but nun others.

nope, just drive miles. or download modio & use a hacked gamesave to unlock tracks/paint/cars

On a related note; picked this up for £5 today, I am now recovering from the arcade nostalgia. I also have the urge to search every-fucking-where for an arcade with a sega rally machine nearby.

i know its like crack i swear!

if you're on 360, I know some ppl that play. most of us stay out of pratice, but be warned. the learning curve is extremely steep! so it can be hard starting out LoL!

try to unlock the mitsubishi concept-x in the first class of cars & unlock however far you want to go in the third group.

you can check the time-attack boards to see what cars/classes/tires/transmissio­ns are most popular for what track you're on.

@Toysrme I'm just moving my way through the championships at the mo, a couple have been a pain in the arse but I'm getting there. Once I've done that I'll probably take your advice and see if anyone's still up for a race.

Also that's a good idea checking the time-attack boards, will have to use that.

ya SRR is a blast. Go through the time attack & multiplayer leaderboards on xbox & send out some messages. a lot of us still play, but very irregularly. be warned about MP tho. a few of us have 2 1/2 years of on/off experience.

There has always been internet play on xbox 360. There aer not many players left, but there are afew.

PC servers were shut down quite some time back.

good name for this game, but I've read, that Colin McRae DiRT 3

is under developing and it will became more like brittish rally, and that is a good thing. But this is still my fav. ;)

@potatopommittaja9 To be honest, the only problem I have with Dirt 2 is the fact that it has Colin Mcrae's name in front of it. It just isn't anything like the games he had a say in the development of.

SRR is better than Dirt. I like it better than Dirt 2

That being said, the raw fun-factor of SRR is FAR AND AWAY the most fun racing game out... STILL! LoL!

Unlike any other racing game you've ever played you can buy this for $5usd. Play the hell out of it for 2 weeks. Not play it for a month & play it again. (2 1/2 years later no less!)
