  • This was my shit!!! House Factory in NY...the Good Ol' Dayz!

  • been looking for this song for mad long....

  • Incredible

  • a houseparty without acid crash,is NO houseparty...

  • HA-HAAH!!! HOUSE MUSIC LIVES FOREVER!!!!! I remember the talcum powder on the dancefloors and all of us skating and skipping to tracks like this!!! Fun times!!

  • there was another song that sound like this and acid crash, anyone know the name??? the melody is played with a different sample (and the sample changes) and it gets real distorted in the middle...

  • @DjDedan

Not sure if this is the song ur talking about... "Lil Louis - The Original Video Clash"

  • @drewdon172 yes you got it! for a second i thought that was the other video clash you were talking about! many thanks!

  • Comment removed

  • @DjDedan md connection - magic feet (original mix) possibly

  • @parnowihavetogoblind it was the original video clash by lil louis, but that md connection one is cool too... how many versions of this track are there o.O

  • 1/OF MY FAVORITES

  • Kinda track I'd send to my local MP...

  • 4 people crashed

  • Yeah, House is Strange and Humorous.

  • @ Bakebreal - you said House was dead NOT me & that you were burned out by '94 - my comment was based upon these remarks & NOT on who you might or might not know, who you think you are & your personal achievements & contributions to House. By your own admittance you ain't HOUSE. ;-)

  • @ Bakebreal - u talk shit - House lives - u just no longer support, represent or believe. By your own admission you got 'burned out' by 94 so how are you qualified to comment after this time? T

OP - thanks for posting theis up - it's still fresh! ;-)

  • @RickySwank Cause I been spinning HOUSE since 1987. Still do.....So yeah, I think I'm qualified. In fact, my boy Steve Poindexter has a house track that I put together for him to tweek it for me. I'd say I'm qualified....

  • @RickySwank I'm qualified because I have a right to express my comments of how I feel, and I STILL spin......So, how is that talkin shit??

  • Are you sure about your dates? Maybe you heard another version of this record. at the time their were three that i know of : Video Crash by Tyree, Video Clash by Lil Louis and Happy Feet by Mike Dunn. Also the Marshall Jefferson unreleased Demo version was playing around before the other Three were officially released.

  • Respond to this video... They ALL came out AFTER the original by Shawn Hardison did it. It hit WKKC first, and AFTER that......those were in press....

  • @rodneybakerr If you are the Rodney Bakerr that produced this smooth track, then you too should know where this song Originally started.

  • @Bakebreal reply to Bakebreal, My best guess would be that most of the Crash Mixes go back to Marshall Jefferson and the original demo that he had and never released in his name. I Believe that would be a good place to start.

  • @rodneybakerr I still have the original myself......

  • @rodneybakerr I still have the original Shawn T song myself. It consists of horns and beats, but no crashing. It was called the "Hales Track".

  • @Bakebreal I 'am not familiar with this track by Shawn T , But i do know that both Tyree and Lil Louis versions are in some way connected to the Marshall Jefferson demo. Many believe that Louis's version came directly from the Jefferson version maybe with some changes and Tyree gave reference by having Jeffersons initials in the writers box of his version. Tyree told me to do this himself. at the time i didn't know why and now i do.

  • @rodneybakerr The world of House Music. Gotta love it. LOL, this can be an episode stemmed from the HISTORY of House Music. LOL. If only you could hear it, you'd say "wow, now I see".

  • @rodneybakerr For years, Shawn didn't have a copy of his own track. I had provided it to him maybe just a few years ago.

  • A staple of DJ Sean Rudeboy Sweeney @ Axis 1989

  • amazing, amazing inspirational track, so simple raw and powerful

  • What a haaaaaard tune!

  • You don't know how long I've been looking for this song!! Thank you very much for the upload!

  • @cchristi, I remember rockin' to this at SoundFactory with Junior Vasquez on the 1&2's! That was the spot!! No alcohol served; just bone-vibrating, mind-trippin', soul-charging tunes and BASS!! Madonna found her two main dancers for her "Vogue" video and "Blonde Ambition Tour"inside SF. Those two Latin dudes use to win trips from dance contests every week rockin' to this jam! If memory serves me, Junior remixed Vogue for her too. Ahh, memories....I miss those days.

  • This is my song........OMG!!!! @Hart, I know this as Acid Crash as well. Nevertheless, we found it! Yayyy, my song!

  • ..always loved this track.. used to take you right in!

  • Parzicht Rotterdam 1990/91.

  • "Acid Crash"¿ Is that paying homage to Hackers¿

  • heh the first ever Rave song? and i have to agree with ost o the folks on here... this song was genius for its time, and the feeling at that date... so pure..so bright.. no gang shit...no retarded kids with guns in school, no bullshit ridalin , no after-bush ...just pure fun..man what i would give for those days.. where a club was gone to dance, not stand against the wall and talk shit about the next person. where the guys danced with the girls. a show of sportsmanship. competition, no hate. fun

  • RED ZONE!! I miss Kenyatta.

  • I meant "KNEE". We used to battle to see who had the hottest moves. A few of us wound up doing video work.

  • Nothing like the sound factory. worked this the hell out. with all thaT DAMN FOOTWORK OCASSIONAL FLIPS AND LOT OF FLOOR ACTION. WHAT IT WAS TO BE 21. MY NEED STOPS ME TODAY.LMAO

  • Priceless......RedZone Classic....I LOVE U NYC

  • All I had to do was FEEL this track; whether I'd dropped or not, it was so, so very on!!! I remember these red leather hi-top tennis that I danced in for so long that the dye bled through my socks and onto my feet, which were stained for the longest thereafter...ah, for some good acid (house, that is...or not :-) ). This track was a SCANDAL at the Factory, when Junior still knew what fierce means.

  • You can hear the great difference between today's sample and those years one!!!

  • fucking awesome

  • This beat iz pure GENIUS!!!!!

  • best song in thew world

WHAT THA FUCK HAPPENED TO NYC??????? ACID CRASH PUT ME IN ANOTHER WORLD

  • I remember all that, best times of my life...

  • @cchristi I'm not from NYC but went to the clubs and lived there awhile during those times. I know what you mean---I miss the purity of fun about that time period...

  • @cchristi you just described pretty much every weekend I had in the late 80's to early 90's lol....NYC back then was a movement!!

  • @cchristi the days. time machine is ready

  • @cchristi

u sure it was stretch & bob? i know they used to b on thurs nites, but they would b playing underground hip-hop.. as a matter of fact remember saturday nites when HOT 103.5 used to b at the Tunnel?!

  • @cchristi I remember Jay mixing dixing that was man on the 1&2!

  • @cchristi Thank our lovely mayors who went after all the clubs in NYC to shut down. All because they wanted to make NYC "Family Entertainment" for tourists. Now all we really have left is webster hall. We use to be king of the club and fashion scenes. Because of that you have to go to chicago, detroit or cali to experience what once was NYC.

  • @seanes718 Preach seanes!!! NYC used to be the shyt!!!!! Very few places had anything on the NYC back in the day, you begged or scammed your way onto a ferww guestlists whenever you could and you'd hit the clubs till you found the one that was off the hook...those were the days....

  • @cchristi i remember

  • @cchristi again, check the labels...these are CHICAGO artisits, produced by CHICAGO DJ's...HOUSE spread to New York and London from Chicago...

  • Roman Ricardo used to kill this "Live at the Tunnel" on the old Hot 97

  • WOW!!!!......five stars

  • There were SEVERAL different responses to Lil' Louis' "Original Video Clash", which was quite a sensation when it came out. One was Tyree's "Video Crash". That's what's playing here. There is also "Acid Drums", "Video Drums" and "Acid Crash".

  • Wow I remember Roman Ricardo mixing it on the old hot 97 fm in new york back in the late 1980's, xnks 4 the memories love it.

  • THIS is GREAT! Makes me think of the HOUSE days from a long time ago.

  • Title is wrong. The label shows "VIDEO CRASH" also the year in the info is wrong. The label also shows "(C)1988 Rockin´House"

  • The year was a typo, corrected. Everyone seems to know the tune as "Acid Crash", will leave it as such. Tx.

  • @skylineag4u2nv

Yep , i have the 12 '' on the house musik label hm 801 named '' Acid Crash '' :)

  • @skylineag4u2nv

    Hello, Skylineag4u2ny

Your comments on Video Crash are all Wrong . The Original was called Video Crash not Acid Crash, Acid Crash Came Later. The Original has Five Mixes on it Two by Tyree and Three by me Label Owner and Producer Rodney Bakerr. The above Label information year and all is 100% Correct. Thankyou.

  • @HartRaver i remeber a red lable with a stick house but not these graphicsalso whitelab.. with soho on other side bonus track

  • @HartRaver people called compended, compounded.

  • haah hat with the bill turned up. sooo old. sick track.

  • Not many people know about that orginal story and it was because of this stealing of each others songs amonst the DJ's that helped kill the House Scene. That unfortunately allowed Rap to escalate and House died from lack of unity amongst the DJ's and clubs started closing down left and right

  • A quote to my comment when I said that THIS song and others like it was not the original. Original version came from my guy DJ Shaun T. during high school. He made the tack for our basketball team for warmups during home games. Someone got hold to it during our homecoming party, next thing you know, it was on the radio station.....a off in running. Shaun never got credit or accolades....only recognition from true friends. TRUE STORY....and I got the original STILL....in my vault.

  • @Bakebreal, house is still alive and well here in Holland :D.

  • @Bakebreal

you aint lying. although arguably the greatest album in 93 illmatic and others like it demolished everything in site. I was a massive club head from 89-94 but then i got burnt out and not enough true house clubs survived! NYC!

  • This song was so hot! Damn lol! Old times, good times! Man it was so simple, yet so mezmerizing back in the day.

  • This song came out my senior year, and for our senior prom song we chose this, not no slow down and dance with your girl song but this, I love it.....

  • this tune is called acid crash not video crash..but good post memories from Red Zone N.Y.C Club

  • I know, I'll change it.

  • @skylineag4u2nv

The information on the Label is 100% correct it needs no changing.

Thanks, Rodney Bakerr Label owner and Producer.

    Rockin House Chicago.

  • @rodneybakerr as a TRUE CHicago HOUSE HEAD, I can say unequivicollay that the date on the label is wrong...in '88 I was an entering sophomore in High School, yet had been jacking to this since the end 7th grade, 2 years before...

  • @teddy029 Thats word- Red Zone would get so wild when this track came on- we would all run to the dance floor to battle- so many circles were formed it was insane.

  • Can't say enough about this classic. This always blew the roof off the NYC clubs whenever it came on.

  • Yea some fun and fast acid house they dont make it like this much anymore, this is pure art not filth like most popmusic now days. This song remindes me of a thunderstorm, you know what I am saying with all the clash and ringing steel sounds every two seconds.

This is the first time I heard this song Wednsday June 4 2008

    Signed Manga12

  • Yes - Thank you for making my life happy again... man I love this song....
