  • You are so fabulously queer! To quote Haraway: "Cyborg writing [or video creating?]is about the power to survive, not on the basis of original innocence, but on the basis of seizing the tools to mark the world that marked them as other." :)

  • Thank you. *hugs* I feel pretty "othered" by some of the videos on TSG this week. :(

  • the link to the essay doesn't work so good

  • Just fixed the link. Thank you for letting me know.

  • nice video, sad to see you leaving. hope you can find the time to keep making great videos on your own channel.

  • Thank you. Yes, I'll be continuing to have fun with videos and trans friends on other channels.

  • Forgive me for being too literal in my thinking but a transexual's parts are his or her own reconfigured. There are no bionic parts, although female transexuals might have breast implants. What does that have to do with a Cyborg? I must confess, though, that I have not read Ms. Haraway's work.

  • Some see the cyborg (at least, as described in the essay) as a metphor for trans-ness because the cyborg is partially constructed by humans and cyborgs are genderless, non-reproductive beings. Obviously, I relate more to the metaphor as a childless genderqueer. ;)

  • wow !!!!!

  • Thank you. :)
