  • It was a pleasure to listen to your friend The Lithuanian mucision in Vallentuna Sweden to play your music "The Dance of Trumpets" tonight at the Christmasday serman in the Church. I had to ask her whos music she played. And you have made a great play of it! Great play Diana Bisch and Happy New Year 2012 to you!

  • What a great song. At about 0:29, if you look close enough, you can see some of the 20 ranks through the facade.

  • ein sehr schönes Stück!! und sehr gute Performens

  • I could tell it was an Allen without even seeing the console. Most Allen organs have a slight piercing sound. This is one of them.

  • Nice piece, but if she is goona promote the 'fake' organs she should not have a video which only shows real pipes...where are the speakers??? What a sell-out

  • If you look at the keyboards, this is an Allen organ. I think the pipes are just a decoration to imitate a real pipe organ. No organ can come close to the real thing than an Allen organ.

  • @patsaxon There are 20 real ranks in the organ...so the pipes in the case are real! But, the organ is mostly digital!

  • Saw this on YouTube a few months ago, ordered the music and played it at a recital two days ago....it was a hit. Brilliant and entertaining piece.

  • very good... just thinking to myself... if she composed this piece why is she using the sheet music...

  • @Steve9819 Well the same reason everyone else usually does...even though she composed it, doesn't mean she has it memorized. Make sense?

  • The organ literally sparkles when she plays it. Bravissimo.

  • In the case, are those the only pipes in the organ? How many pipes does it have?

  • @tman8077 I'm not sure which specific pipes are real. All I know is, 20 of the ranks are real, and the rest is electronic.

  • Did she compose this piece?

  • @tman8077 Yes. The sheet music is available in the link bar.

  • How old is Diane now?

  • @tman8077 I thought she was younger than that, but she looks older in this video!

  • @tman8077 This program was filmed fairly recently. Most of the uploads I have on my channel were filmed before this one which is why she seems younger in the other uploads.

  • @tman8077 any chance you could give her a message for me?

  • I guess this is a song that she composed. Well I quite like it! Its has a nice tempo to it.

  • Who is the composer? She herself ?

  • This sounds awesome

  • Where i can order the sheet music ?- I think in Italy is impossible to buy....waiting for answer- thanks

  • This is a fun little piece. It sort of reminds me of Lefebure-Wely's Sortie.

  • And i just ordered a copy of the sheet music from online so I can learn it myself.

  • Play it, Diane!

  • Great work Diane!! The ,,Dance on the trumpet's'' i ''manefic.''

  • Dear Diane, I am so taken with your performance of this piece. I have saved it in my favorites so I can listen to it anytime! Bravo!!! I had a stroke 8 yrs. ago and cant really play the organ any longer. But after hearing this, I am trying to play once again. not well mind you. But trying..

  • I recognize the organ console--this must be the prototype for the DB-58Q, albeit as a hybrid driving the Tidwell electric-action organ as well as its own 100Wx8 amplifier rig.

  • You'd have to pay me a large amount of money to put my name on an Allen.

  • Granted I would prefer a real pipe organ over hybrids and digitals any day, digital voices are becoming sophisticated enough to sound convincing to all but the most die hard organ buffs like you, me, many others watching this vid. Even though this could and has been debated countless time, what matters is the organ being of good enough design to get the job done effectively. As long this is so more power to the listeners.

  • Dear Diane

Magnificent. Your superb fingerwork and handling of the organ is superb.

The score is on itt's way to me and a church in the UK is about to hear the "Dance of the Trumpets" at the end of Morning Worship.

    God Bless.

    Drawstop in UK

  • This is a very fun piece. Reminds me of a circus.

  • UGG!! ITS A HYBRID PIPE ORGAN... Looks nice.

  • Here is another tip:

at the end of the url web address, type in the following: &fmt=18 this will enhance the sound.

  • On behalf of the American Guild of Organists, thanks for the post.

This is absolutely, one of my favorites.

  • Great song!!!, There is some serious coordination with the hands and feet that would take.... I don't know long to master?.

  • I thought I heard all of her works. I enjoy them all but this one was especially well done. Again thank you for posting these.

  • Did she compose this piece?

  • I'd say yes. So how much of ths organ is digital? At least the Label says "Allen", but that horizontal horn is real for sure!

  • Burton K. Tidwell designed the instrument and oversaw all details of its completion, including pipe scaling and tonal finishing. The case was built by Robert L. Sipe, Inc. and the Diane Bish Signature Series console and digital voices are by the Allen Organ Company.

The organ contains 20 ranks of pipes, including a Trompette en Chamade. The organs custom digital voices were carefully selected and voiced in great detail on site by Mr. Tidwell.

  • Miss Bish composed this for Janet Jerrel. She is the lady that books Dianes concerts at JEJ Artists. Diane composed this for Janets Birthday. What a Birthday present!
