  • are u using the pearl jg16 or the gibraltar r bop conversion set for the bass drum? im planning to convert a 14' tom to a bass drum too.

  • Why no toms?? Gotta love dem toms man ;)

  • @thefirechaser24 i love toms too, but right now they just don't fit my personal style.

  • @theabadabam Oh

  • this is a nice set for record hip hop loops :) i like it

  • @elChinoProducciones thanks, it really is isn't it.

  • shouldnt your wife be in the kitchen not you?

  • @XxXBlackRainxXx1 haha, good one.

  • "Maybe if my kit looks ridiculous they won't notice that I can't play."

  • @paintersstone i am sure you are a much better player then you give yourself credit for.

  • nice crash hat.

  • I love huge hats

  • @wiirluvenit so do I, gotta love that Steve Jordan feel.

  • @Dugdrum6 Thanks for the input, please post a video of you playing something that is not "complete crap." I would like to have a frame of reference so I can know what exact ally I need to work on.

  • @theabadabam You mean when he [dugdrum6] actually posts something?

  • there are so many dislikes because that drumming is complete crap....

  • I really like this... I can't belive a small bass drum as that one sound so cool... Did you just took a 14' tom and tune it that way!?

  • @gugusfu thanks for the compliment, and yes, that is exact ally what i did... check out my response to the last comment for the info on the the heads and tuning.

  • I have a jungle kit that I put together and my bass drum permanently is 14". There is a way to create lower tones to give the kit a more full bodied sound. !4" diameter is technically to high for normal tones that we associate with hearing a bass drum, unless the "floor tom" is long. This is what I did to get a good sound out of 10 x 14 bass drum. Hydraulic/ or Double ply heads on both sides, tune the heads as floppy as you can while still getting a tone. that should give a good place to start.

  • @JazzieIQ I actually had Aquarian Coated Studio-X heads on the tom/bass. I had them both taped up like a pandeiro and had a hole cut in the reso head. It gave me the sound that I was looking for at that time. very punchy and drum n' bass like. It was very hard to play on due to the tension of the head vs the feel of the bass drum pedal.

    Thanks for the input though.

  • The bass is as big as a floor tom!

  • @Shriffican it was a floor tom at one point

  • dude ur snare sound sick dude wah kinds is it

  • @TheLeslie11234 it is a 4 x 14 brass slingerland shell, with trick lugs and puresound equalizer snares.

  • why the heck are there so many dislikes?

  • @ConnerDrummer i am not sure, but thanks for the support.

  • Pretty neat "Jungle" set up.

  • @pveg65 thanks, it was really fun to play.

  • @spanishsaharaxxx, I feel ya brother!! Why do people feel the need to get on here and embarrass themselves? haha WOW

  • @thecautionchildren thanks for the support.

  • lol why is in your kitchen?

  • @DustinShaneYounce it was the only place i had to setup my kit at the time. but i liked to think of it as a great place to cook up tasty grooves.

  • i like it that sounded good to me, theres creativity on your playing, and thats coming from a drummer... check out my channel

  • well that was shit. :/ who wants m0:00re??

  • @spanishsaharaxxx What exactally is the "shit" that you are reffering to? I would appreciate the feedback and perhaps a video response of you playing something that is not "shit," so that I can know exactally what you think is good and entertaining.

  • well that was shit. :/

  • what ride/crash is that?

  • @Globalninja01 as it clearly says in the description, it is a meinl raker 18 medium crash

  • keep it up!

  • @mmaarriioo13 will do

  • C'est quoi ça ???! Mdrrrrrrr

  • @tams1313 what is what?

  • I like the part where you hit the hi hats.

  • Dude that's awesome. I love how your kits set up in the kitchen haha

  • what was that guy pointing at?

  • keep playing bro you will get better

  • 0:45 wasn't even close to a heel toe, and 0:54 was sloppy as hell i don't care who you are haha

  • @raymundolundo ok first, thanks for the input. but as i stated earlier, that is a hell toe technique, i would know, i use am the one who played it. i know it doesn't look like it., but trust me it is. i know that my free hand technique was sloppy, that doesn't mean you have to be an ass about it. you could say it in a more constructive way. please post a video of you using the techniques so that I may see how well you play them.

  • @theabadabam i agree dude. Im sick of fucking shit talking trolls on youtube

  • @ETONG49 thank you for the support.

  • @raymundolundo wow dude haha your a fuckin asshole hahaha just sayin that was super rude damn

  • 0:54 was sloppy

  • @metalgrande95 thanks for pointing that out. could you please post a video of you using the free hand technique, on a whim.

  • @theabadabam

dude im not saying its bad, just 0:54 was a bit sloppy i actaully like the techniques that you are using,

  • at 00:45, the camera probably dint catch it, what technique did you use to get that quick double hit?

  • @MaYbYl8eR that is a heel toe technique, believe it or not. i know it is hard to tell.

  • how much did the tamborine cost?

  • @WelcomeWakinyan it is less than 30 bucks

  • nice ghosts :)

  • @TheSpallanzani thanks, i appreciate it.

  • What size tom are you using for the bass?

  • @pveg65 read the description

  • forks!!

  • cool video i like ure feel good control and that ride cymbal is nice 2 not 2 resinant

  • Hah kitchen jamming. Yeah I've been playing on a custom made 16", never thought of going down to 14.

  • Thank you for the compliment. I actually went down to 14s myself.

  • Sorry to say, but with the exception of the snare the kit sounds like crap.

  • I think it sounds great for what it is! Would be awesome in a trio setting, nice work!

  • how'd you attatch the bass drum pedal?

  • Pearl Jungle conversion kit.

  • what kind of hihat is it?
