A couple guys hotdogging like that were ejected from their boat. The boat still moving, without driver, circled back and killed them. People should follow the operators manual for driving.
Do a Google search for Bayliner Owners Club Forums. We can all explain this to you. Basically, he starts off with trim all the way down, like you're supposed to, and then at speed, he has it trimmed way to far up, which is what causes that porpoising effect you see in this video. Although, he has taken proposing to all new levels. One side moving wave while he was breaking out of the water like that, and would have been a bad day.
Quakindude, I completely know what youre saying I have the exact same boat color scheme at all and every time i see this video it makes me laugh i'm like how can anyone not know how to drive i mean some people are bad but come on i know how this boat porpoises and it as easily overcome with the trim oh well, the guy's lucky he hasn't gotten hurt yet good way to kill someone
I have a 2007 185BR. I put Nauticus SX Trim Tabs on with the 40Lb actuators and let me tell you what! Those trim tabs make a wonderful difference with this boat. Especially if you have the 3.0L engine like mine does.
By the way, come on over to the Bayliner Owners Club forums. There's a ton of helpful folks with all kinds of awesome ideas for our boats! We are an International organization, so all are welcome.
Thanks alot for the website tip man glad to hear your baby runs sweet with those trim tabs the site seems awesome and my name is once again starsky just starsky thanks again
Dude...that little red thumb button on your throttle? That's called the TRIM button. You need to learn how to use it. Not only is riding around like that extremely dangerous, won't it feel great when you kill that pretty girl in the boat with you?...you look like a friggin idiot. Nothing says dumbass n00b like running around with your out-drive trimmed up so far. Not only that, it's a matter of hours before you blow your bellows and sink.
