Bush went to his family's property, cost to the tax payer is the basic cost of the secret service. No press junket or staffer hotel rooms to pay for. Neither the President, nor his daughters deserves anything. We have 15 trillion worth of debt and he goes off and spends another 4 million. What private citizens do with their own money is their business, but he is the President and this is tax payer money. Why not stay home and give that 4 million to brighten the holidays of the less fortunate.

Today we have the internet to read about what goes on with the President, before the internet, you paid your taxes and didn't get concerned where the Presidents went. For the little amount of money you pay in taxes, believe me it wouldn't cover one day of anybody's vacation. The Pres is on call 24/7 - let him enjoy his time.
