The piano arrangement on this album are perfect, economical masterpieces.The arrangements are by Manuel de Falla, who took simple folk melodies and transformed them into timeless gems. The tempi considerations are exact, Victoria gets congratulations for her impeccable interpretations.
I think that at last I understand why the text in this video is degraded. Thanks to DerekForPresident, I now know about the need to keep the video + audio bit rate total below the utube 'speed limit' of 350 kbps so that utube does not re-encode my flv uploads. Look for future improvements in this regard. Sorry if this seems obscure...Anyway thanks Derek!
I know this piece via Victoria de los Angeles,when she was nearing the end of her career.This is exactly how I remember her at my last of her Recitals.Absolutely wonderful.
