@runescape2215 So you insert the CD into the drive and then use the button in iTunes to rip it. But you say you are getting an error message? What, exactly, does it say?
@4LeafCloverSa You'll need to go in and edit the song infer for each song. You can select all the songs in one album and Command+I and change the album and album artist name for them all at once.
I have read that there are several types of Joint Stereo. It seems to be another compression tool. What type does Apple use ? It doesn't save much space so why use it? I also have some FLAC file I would like to convert. I have been using MediaMonkey to listen to them. The program can convert FLAC to WAV or MP3. I have converted some fiels to WAV burned them to a disc then converted them again to AAC320 then deleted the WAV files from my library. Is this a good way to get a CD quality sound?
@tommag82 I'm not sure of the tech specs of the joint stereo that Apple uses. I also have never had to deal with FLAC files so I'm not sure what is the best way to handle them.
Great video. I wish I had watched it or done some research before creating my library. You will not notice a big difference if your using ear buds or a dock but if you have a good set of headphones or stereo the difference can be dramatic. If you plan to upgrade your audio equipment in the future go for the higher bit rates. I am now importing my music at AAC 320.
@khmerboi82 Hard to advise -- something must be up with the CD. If it is a collection of .mp3 files, though, then you wouldn't "import" you would simply open the CD in the Finder and drag and drop the files into iTunes.
for me its also MP3 CBR 320. Its the best quality out of an MP3 and it works on every player and program. Even tho Id rather use AAC because it has a smaller file size.

I like MP3 V0 or V2. Almost indistinguishable from lossless and much better than CBR 320. Not to mention small sizes.

I will always use AAC it's a lot more advanced format than MP3!
