Actually, here the accompaniment is strictly organ-only (beautifully played!!!). FAR preferable to a harpsichord clunking every 1 or 2 beats!! My suspicion is that the harpsichord was more intended as a tool to help keep people together in those days instead of a voice in itself.

Yes, some intonation problems + a few portamenti I'd gladly do without; however, this is a committed (live) performance - and lovely cathedral acoustic!!
