@CLIXODO Yes, it was a lot of hard plastic (American cars and new Toyotas are not far from, actually), but it had a descent peformance....Thats why the new Tucson has amazed all car journalist....The prev Tucson was one of the best sellers models around the world in despite the simple interior, but the is no doubt it is very useful and comfortable. The new Tucson has better materials and design...Hyundai always make the first model to test the market, and the second gen is a great. Peace!!
Diesel is fine even in temperatures up to -40 below, gas stations simply add anti gel to the fuel at the station. You can also add some white power service to keep it flowing. Most TDI engines preheat the fuel before it hits the filter. Cold is no longer diesel's enemy.

VW is VW, Hyundai is Hyundai. Two different brands. Sometimes you pay for the badge too (and I agree, sometimes the badge is worth the money, but not all the times; this time I think it's worth it). But anyway, you won't complain that an Apple Mac is a bit pricier than a Dell, would you?
A 4wd Tucson is not bad, it is a good car, well made, roomy, safety and usefull. However, the Tiguan is more capable in off roading, better equiped, it has more luxury details and the mechanical specs are more sofisticated. So, even thoug I have a Hyundai, that for me it has been a nice car, I have to accept that VW cars has more hi-tech items in mechanical and passengers spaces, and the price is realistic with the item you'll get. Wanna know who is the overpricer? TOYOTA, Real cars overpricer!
I agree! Toyota is overprice. My father got toyota corola (now auris) and now he got Golf V and golf for the money of corola is more better, Toyota looks so plastic, even the radio in golf is better- corola lose signal all times were i live but golf never!
