there were numerous tejana divas traveling across Texas performing tejano before 1995, the Selena Era. They died off like Dinosaurs with Selena's death. thanks to youtube, all the tejana divas live again.

I have all of Elida's cds... I love her music, style and voice. I first fell in love with her music with Luna Llena... the rest is history.

In response to the Selena comment... I LOVE Selena, but she doesn't come into play. Each artist is very different in their own right. Selena will live forever. Elida is here NOW and she's here to stay! May God bless her!
