  • If you're a fan of Tim Burton, you should definitely read Burton on Burton! It's so amazing :D It's pretty much my holy book now<3

  • thanks! a english bull terrier is a hero ,dead or a life :)

  • The parents are so understanding of the whole thing that it's funny!xD

  • I loved this short film I like how at the end the female dog had frankestein's wife's hair. I felt sad when the dog died again

  • LOL best science project

  • I want Tim Burton to adopt me.

  • I love tim burton so much. He's brilliant.

  • The father should of punch that guy lighting the windmill on fire.

  • wtf man, when that asshole set the windmill on fire along with the dog AND the boy, i felt like slapping the shit out of him >:(

  • GIVE IT MORE JUICE!!!, I loved the fat lady :'D

  • Whoever set that windmill on fire must feel like an asshole.

  • I can't wait till the remake <3

  • Because this was a Disney flic: townspeople realize their mistake, doggy is resurrected again, happily ever after

If this was Burton's work alone: Townspeople kill doggy even if the windmill didn't, kid brings dog back again and this time he makes it KILL PEOPLE.

  • @DarkJakable now thats a happy ending! :D

  • the neighbors are total DUMBASSES!!!

  • For a Tim Burton movie, this isn't all that creepy. It's actually kind of cute!

  • i love how tim burton shows people as hysterical idiots:)

  • Sparky = <3

  • Dude it is marv hahahaha

  • awww. if i was a genius i'd do this in an heartbeat.

  • Holy crap is the dad marv from home alone!?!?

  • this show was alittle creppy but i love it. :`]

  • @PLANET41zombie891 Bull Terrier.

  • @PLANET41zombie891 bull terrier :)

  • i almost sheared a tear .. its SO unfair!

  • i love how the background sets look alike the original frankenstein movie with a bit of tim burton style put into it. how is this too scary for kids? i saw this as a kid and the only part the creeped me out a little was the fat lady with the water hose. i think this is a very heartwarming movie.

  • Some of the music reminds me of The Brave Little Toaster. Is anyone else hearing this or is it just me?

This is my first time watching this in over a decade. It never lost its awesome. :)

  • haha this was so cool ^^

  • eww i would like to punch the fat lady

  • Edward Scissor Hands definitely evolved from this.

  • this was sooooo cute! X3

  • Wow the dad couldnt have a whiter voice if he tried:0

  • Awww....ending is SOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!

  • Chances are, if I saw this when I was a kid, the only thing that'd freak me out was the dog dieing (I would have balled my little eyes out), and the cemetery, cause I'd think zombie pets would come after them.

  • This film isn't scary, like Disney thinks

  • I see that Tim Burton always has this thing with ennoying neighbors. Edward Scissorhands, Frankenweenie, Sleepy hollow..

  • I had never seen this before and I was scared that is wasn't going to have a happy ending. Beautiful story.

  • Happy ending ^^

  • Although most of this made absolutely no sense, was absurd at times, and made me say "What?!?" quite a lot, and I'm not even talking about the 'bringing the dead dog back to life' part, it was still a very good short film and I'm looking forward to the theatrical new version of this in a couple of years!!

  • Was there ever a bad ending to Tim burton's movies ?

  • Tim Burton is cool guy!

  • That boy is a genius!

  • amasing :)

  • beautiful, i love tim burton

  • i thought there was not gonna be a happy ending

  • (gasp) my god

  • it can be true, people are juz lazy to realize.. we can create a science of life recycling you know..

  • Can anyone else see Jack The Pumpkin King on Sparky at 0:10?

  • why are people such fucking dicks something as heart warming as this and still people scream and say it's going to kill them when it's only trying to be happy and meet new people people are fucking dicks ( oh y go this made me cry)

  • why are people such fucking dicks something as heart warming as this and still people scream and say it's going to kill them when it's only trying to be happy and meet new people people are fucking dicks

  • Sparky must be so beat up from all of this. He's been pulled back from the dead twice now!

  • wooow! that's a great movie!!

  • has anyone ever noticed that in at least a couple tim burton movies, he always depicts neighbors as gossipers and completely closed minded people. I think the best example is in this film, and Edward Scissorhands. I really like how he does that because it shows us how the majority of people act

  • 0:18 DUDE! YOUR SON MADE LIFE JUST DEAL WITH IT!

  • omg that was probably one of the most heartwarming things tim burton has ever directed... it was amazingly cute!!

  • the father looks like Tre Cool to me..

  • @WinterxSeas Im not the only one who thought that! awesome haha

  • This is great. Thanks for uploading it.

  • There are only a few movies by Tim Burton that have a heartwarming ending, this is one of them.

  • aww *sniffle* *sniffle* would someone please pass the tissues? :')

  • Soo kyute TwT it srsly braught me sum tears

  • Awesome. Thank you very much for uploading this!!!

  • its alwasy the same...i fucking hate fat gossip neighbours! I hope sparky bites her to death, and then bring her to life again as a new monster

  • Fucking fierce, mate

  • I love this movie I can't believe Disney was so reluctant to release it.

  • i loved this movie as a kid and i still do!

  • I can't help but wonder if Sparky was this mischievous before the Operation... because seriously... he's just the same dog.

  • @MIchaelRhotick then u missed the point of this! he was just being a dog and people were overreacting because of the way he looked and the way the kid had been acting all the nosey neighbors knew he was up to something. the whole message of this is dont judge a book by its cover. even though the dog was still cute even with all the stitches and bolts in his neck. i always wanted one of those dogs theyre called Bull Terriers

  • awwww

  • this movie scared me when i was little lol

  • magnificent!

  • GIVE IT MORE JUICE!

  • the burgning windmill totally reminds me of "sleepy hollow"

  • Sheer genius. My dog died just over a year ago - I wish this were really possible.

Anyway, about the remake, they must have finished filming and are in post production now, because I was at the Tim Burton exhibition in Toronto today, and I saw the puppets of Victor and Sparky... as well as many of the puppets from Nightmare itself!!!!

  • @moongirl786

What! I want a Sparky puppet!

  • Muy buena pelicula!! Very goog ending.

  • Alright, that was an adorable ending. They should play this on tv more.

  • 1:01 LOLL

  • "I'll fix him a nice bowl of batteries. Or something."

  • yeah tim burton is remaking this into a full length stop motion film, I cant wait!

  • It's so strange that he still has the same style and ideas circulating in his system, normally this doesn't work and artists have phases, but with tim it does work. His ideas are recycled but... it's just brilliant! Edward Scissorhands is my absolute fave of all time, but the plot of this is pretty similar. Loved it.

  • Apparently there is going to be a remake of this coming out sometime this year. Don't know if it's directed by Tim burton. Hope it is!

  • @SceneKidWannabeee it is going to be Tim Burton! but it's stop motion :) So excited.

  • Omg, love this, haha :). Love Tim :).

  • its like a combination of burtons vincent edward scissorhands with a twist of frankenstein

  • When the windmill fell on him I cried. It makes me winder how they're gonna pull off a stopmotion of this but if Tim directs it it'll be amazing.

  • God sake, sparky didn't hurt anybody!

  • I like how pets have massive graves instead of being buried out back.

  • At the start of this clip the dad looks like Tobey Maguire

  • "GIVE HIM MORE JUICE"

  • I got teary-eyed. Not going to lie.

  • "people are weird." LOL

  • I always say to my mum my cat is gunna live foever and now thx to Tim Burton she will

  • Those two dogs really do have a spark of chemistry together....!

  • GIVE HIM MAOR JUICE!!!1!eleventyone!!

  • the kid looks like a young Anthony Kiedis

  • lol this was actually pretty enjoyable

  • The miniature golf course was a great touch!

  • I see the pattern, does this not remind you a bit of edward scissorhands?

  • Awwww. I love the story!! >__<

  • Tim Burton has got to be my most favorite director.

  • awesome sad but good disney should have kept it

  • cleverly spoofing godzilla, frankenstein 1931 and its sequel

  • Bullterrier FTW :3

  • Its the Kid from The Neverending Story!

  • @TheWarlord900 agreed

  • sparky is an adorable dog :)

  • People. are. weird... period.

  • i hope they reuse the same actors or at least some of them, cause having to watch a remake with hollywood actors would be such a bummer...

  • the familiars are very open minded... much more than most people nowadays...

  • why couldnt Burton do more things like this, although i loved Ed Wood and obviously i loved Nightmare

  • GIVE IT SOME MORE JUICE

  • GIVE IT MOAR JUICE!!!

  • this movie is sooooooooooooo cool

  • 6:41 - 7:41 The Dog Sparkie Saves Victor from a Burning.

  • anyone else thinks this boy is like yellow jacket from twisted metal black?

  • my question is how is victors family like oh its just sparky! i would be like WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO A DEAD DOG WAIT WHAT!!!! and there like oh look its sparky our undead friggin dog i dont get it lol

  • "I guess we can't punish Victor for bringing Sparky back to life." LOL

  • This made my day loved it. my childhood all over again.

  • Aww Sweet!!!! :)

  • im crying again!!

  • 7:00 Start till end

  • just cried a little, remember seeing this movie with my bull terrier when i was a little boy.

  • Wonderfull!

  • 0:24 Dad just saw a double rainbow!! :D

  • 0:24 Dad just say a double rainbow!! :D

  • i know this is a frankenstein reference, but seriously. that little girl that kept clinging onto the man is SUCH A WIMP! "we have to kill the dog because he scared me!" like seriously, its a dog, get over it. and then they set the windmill on fire... now was that really necessary. that dude should have been arrested for that. they all saw that there was a kid in there and he still set it on fire. also, fatass woman... im pretty sure sparky has no desire to eat your rayman, so shut the fuck up!

  • @potterbond

I'm sure the guy who set the windmill on fire didn't do it deliberately. He slipped and fell before the windmill was set alight. And that girl clutching to her father's side...She's only a kid. :P

Also have you ever seen Edward Scissors hands? It's also directed y Tim Burton.

The neighbors in that movie were also hysterical, and poor Edward was misunderstood, just like Sparky in this movie. And I'm sure anyone who seen a reanimated dog would get the fright of their life.

  • Tim Burton will really maka a remake? That´s sooooooooooooooo cool!!!

  • Comment removed

  • That's stupid. The people saw the boy come down with a dog, and they all went crazy. Idiotic people, SERIOSLY. Even his parents know it's cool with a dog that have been sewed together, but they still went crazy.

-sorry for such a negative comment-

And yes, I have watched Frankenstein.

  • for those who dont get the references, watch frankenstein

  • Sparky reminds me of Abercrombie

  • Start your engines!

  • Victor, i meant.

  • The boy Vincent is the boy Bastian from the movie Fantasia!

  • Lol... because of this, and that old DTV Disney Halloween special, when I was a kid I associated windmills with Halloween.

  • its so cute, i feel like drawin stich marks on my dog :)

  • "It tried to eat my Raymond!" That lady was annoying!

  • this is like the cutest film ever :-)

  • lol I loved the bride of frankenweenie.

  • I laughed out loud when the people immediately turned into an angry mob with flashlights instead of torches.

    LOL!

  • nice bowl of batteries, delicous

  • mice bowl of batteries, delicous

  • it sucks that there are actually people this stupid

  • XD. awesomest thing ive ever seen EVER!

  • That ending still gets me choked up. It's beautiful. And the music is perfect.

  • "Other parents worry about their parents getting into drugs. I guess we're lucky" lol

  • @tamararaven 'Kids' getting into drugs, not parents ^^

  • @NinjaStarfish94 Oops, how did I do that? Even though it was a long time ago, I remember it was really late at night when I watched this.

  • I love the ending!

    So cute. :)

  • Wow.. what a great short.. what a great ending

    Tim Burton.. you're just great

  • this just proves that with enough voltage anything is possible

  • Tim sure loves flaming windmills. Did anyone notice this? It happens in Sleepy Hollow as well, another of his movies. You can see another (kind of) during the Mad Hatter's flashback in Alice and Wonderland

  • @inferno0202x The flaming windmill in this movie is used to mimic the scene from the original Frankenstein movie (1931). I think he puts the windmill in his movies now to refer back to this movie, which was his first.

  • @methylethyldeth I thought Pee-wee's Big Adventure was his first movie.

  • @GroverKent Vincent (animated short) was in 1982, Frankenweenie was in 1984, and the Pee Wee's Big Adenture was in 1985 .. Frakenweenie was just too dark for Disney's taste at the time..

  • Tim Burton's ideas amaze me... that's all I need to say.

  • @spyglasss thanks for postin frankenweenie

  • I love tim burton

  • something tells me this is what inspired burton to go on to make edward scissorhands

  • The end with the mob is very Edward Scissorhands.

  • @rachlovesmoony Which is very Frankenstein. Which was a dark comedy too

  • well i geuss we cnt punish him for bringin the dead back to life!! lmfao!! i love tim burton

  • Woah... trippy...

  • 5:16 run daddy run (:

  • I love the "old" lady that's Running while holding her Crutches! Priceless!

  • what kinda moron sets a windmill with a little boy in it on fire??

  • @wildlark I think it's supposed to be a reference to the Frankenstein monster.

  • @wildlark Tim Burton :).

  • Is the dad the drummer from Green Day?

  • @ECL28E He's Daniel Stern - He's one of the bad guys from Home Alone!
