@SilentAssassin333 Noel is a control freak which worked great when he was the only one writing songs but I guess as other members of the band put forward great songs Noel would need to lay off the iron rod a bit, which he probably couldnt. It was likely hard to control Liam when he wasnt contributing songs, you would have to respect the talent, but as he started writing I bet it was harder for Noel to "put him in his place"

I think Noel just wanted to do things his own way again
