  • Men and Women wear same type of clothes?

  • @pokhareliketo They both wear sarongs, but tie them in a different way and the patterns are different too. Look up "longyi" on Wikipedia - men wear pasoes and women wear htameins.

  • I was born in Rangoon,my family lives in aussie(Melbourne,Victoria),i live in Edinburgh,Scotland.I visited them in November 09,(my 3rd time)Every morning i had the best monhinga made by my mother,it was bliss,so much burmese food,loads of la phet(thote)My youngest boy(6)loves burmese food so much we call him our "burmese boy".To night we both had a bowl of boild rice with Bala chaung.loved it.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yes I was born in Burma in 1950-recently I went to Perth,Australia and ate a lot of Mohinga and burmese food there at the Burmese food fete. so I was so happy to find this video on Youtube as I had brought some ready made packets of Mohinga and fish sauce and fish paste from Perth with me to make mohinga and Bala chaung

  • My parents are from Burma and i actually eat alot of burmese food like mohinga. I've actually even been to Burma ,its a really poor country but its actually really fun. i even know how to speak it fluently and im only 14.

  • I was in burma last year and everything went up,street mohinga cost about 300 kyats which equal to 25 to 30 cents us currency but if you eat in restaurant 500 kyats ,about 45 to 50 cents u.s.dollar
