like if they need to have surgery they won't help, becuz my hamster got out once and he was a teddy hamster so they can get out easier, and he got out and i havent saw him for days and i finally found him and he had a huge rip on one of his legs and he was old and i wanted 2 take him 2 the vet but they could do anything about it. but the good news is that he was able to live with it and it didnt slow him down and he wasnt in pain but he died and 2 months later

Ive had many hamsters and none of em has been (ever) in such a state that it feels this threatened or "angry". it depends on its temperament really, we have one now who is as tame as anything and only made that noise last summer on a ridiculously hot day when she was uncomfortable, and a hamster we had years back did it once when he was in his ball and it got stuck between two objects. Some hamsters are relaxed, some are just naturally cranky!

My hamster used to do that. He got really aggressive too. Turned out he had an acute infection in his lungs and even with vet care he died within thwo months of me getting him.
