LOL best game of the year? it's MARCH?! Nothing has come out that's "game of the year". if you knew how to read u may have picked up on that i did NOT like how it plays like GoW. It had some good points, but by NO means will this game go anywhere or be "game of the year". It was fun for 2-3 days and that's it. Rent it, beat it, bring it back. Simple as that. Vegas 2 comes out next week anyway, so this game will be put back on the shelf/traded and forgotten it ever existed.

For whatever reason, you can blind-fire more accurately than precision shooting with the left trigger, including the enemy. 9x out of 10 if you tried to scope someone u'd get blind-fired from 10 ppl in the face. 90% of gameplay = u hide behind something and wait til they pop they're head out then blindfire. sniper rifles carried 10 bullets of ammo total when primary/secondary had 400. no idea why. shotgun shot like assault rifles from 80+ft away. overall accuracy from enemy was ridiculous.

the multiplayer was not v enjoyable to me at all. unless you do a custom game you have 0 ways to filter the game/map you join. ran around gettin shot at by AI enemy trying to run from objective to objective before the other team. good points, weapon customization was kewl. No ridiculously long time between checkpoints. the aggro/tactical play concept was great. i found it better when my wife or a friend played co-op as they actually shot ppl with me instead of just blind-firing like mad.

it was just very repetetive and enemy coming out from seemingly thin-air. Over-all the aiming seemed ridiculously sluggish as ppl could walk right up to you sometimes and you just couldn't turn fast enough to shoot them until they were behind you. The no melee button and just "being in melee range" was annoying as well. I also have no idea where the dune buggy portion of the game was unless I somehow missed it altho the hovercraft was used 2-3x

I waited for this game for about a year and just finished campaign. i hate to say it, but it was quite a let-down. Story wasn't really interesting and it made me feel like I was playing a port of Gears. No matter the accuracy rating you still seemed to shoot everywhere and it took way too many bullets to kill something. The AI was great in teh beginning and then slowly got dumber as each level passed. I would've enjoyed this more in 1st person for sure. So a 1/3rd option would've been great.
