If you own one of these engines then its best to base at somewhere like EVLR (in this vid) of Windmill Farm or even Bure Valley etc so that the track is there and the facilities to run them. An engine that you can sit in, quite modern, but steam, about 10 years old, bit and powerful is currently on the market for £48, 000. I would buy one if I had the cash.
That's about the same for the American 15in gauge locos too, $75,000. Just like you if I had the money I would but them, but I've been looking at the smaller 5in gaugers that are around 6,000 GBP new, 3,000-4,000 GBP used.
I remember count louis at fairbourne 30 yrs ago it never ran hats off to whoever restored it what a super job!would love to hear more info on the restoration thanks
@RASDV Hi mate. I was using a Fujifilm 7.1MP camera but it had pretty good video and audio recording as well. I got a JVC Everio camcorder for Xmas however so am now using that. The Fuji was OK but this is much better lol. Glad you enjoy it!
