I absolutely love this song and I thought that Snow Patrol were the only ones that could perform this song effortlessly.

hey, the audio is fed from a mike into a multi tracker and the video is recorded into my camcorder. My performance is genuinely live. On my videos the lead parts and other instruments are overdubs. The final parts are then all resynced into Adobe Premier. Sometimes this can be marginally out of sync and hence u guys seem to doubt me...but thats cool

hi i must say i was surprised your voice is quite good!!!please quit smoking i am a singer myself and when i gave up i opened up a new octave in my voic!!!breathing excercises are the way to go!tip:keep your feet about shoulder width apart dont riise your shoulders when you breathe and if it helps take 1 minute of breathing b4 u sing 30 secs shallow the rest deep..and push out air with diaphragm not lungs!!most importantly warm up b4 u sing!!! sing the scale of c a few times up and down it helps

Pleasant, very listenable. You smoke, eh? Try this - run up a steep hill, run FAST. Then don't smoke for 24 hours and try it again. If you're a heavy smoker you'll be amazed at the difference.

Uhm, I do enjoy Leona's version because it's different. Yours is also different, but slightly. However it's good! Only thing is you appear to sing with a lot of tension, which isn't good at all. Your head moves forward and your face contorts, none of which are good. Try to focus on keeping it very simple... don't try too hard. But overall it's still good, you're just going to hurt yourself in the long run and you won't be able to produce nice music such as this. Cheers!

Yeah i guess i should learn how to sing properly using my stomach more. People tell me breathing exercises make it easier to reach higher notes more expressively. Maybe quitting smoking would improve it all greatly. The truth is I dont care if it goes one day, then it goes.

That comment was a bit harsh. The main thing I see is you need to memorize the lyrics & music. Then do a video & feed the camera your energy/force. By being free to put all your attention on the camera, you'll naturally forget about yourself & the tension will be sucked away by the camera!

It's a technique both very good actors & singers use. By focusing all your thoughts on a person in the audience or the camera (as a person), it doesn't give your mind a chance to self doubt your Confidence!
