the hp tablet was actualy started frekin 5 years ago man. apple just made one and threw it out there first and the ipad sucks its just a big ipod -.- so its more like apple was in a huge hurry to put something out before anyone else and they...FAILED

I read it has 720p, 6 hours of maximum battery life, and it has been shown to play Left 4 Dead 2 in around 50 fps on "high settings". It's impressive for sure, I'm still looking for which graphic laptop to get though.

Yup, you can play 720P HD videos on it without a problem.

Just youtube "Alienware M11x" and you'll get a bunch of videos on what that little thing can really do.

This proves how insanely bad and biased tech journalism has become. Here is HP showing off an amazing multitouch slate COMPUTER running a full desktop OS (Win 7) and full desktop web browsers with Flash support, and a nice little webcam on front for video chatting. But instead of being excited about this incredible product which could actually take the place of a netbook, they are going nuts for months over an expensive giant iPod Touch

the the dell tablet.. did it just look like a giant iphone? yes, dells equivalent to the iphone. but dell being dell, they had to make it massive, so even when apple turn around to make fun of them, at least you can beat them over the head with it.

Their Ipad is even larger so I don't think they'll be doing that :p. I don't see the point of a tablet without a stylus for graphics and multitasking anyway. But that alienware is mighty apealing! 6,5 hours battery? 3 hours gaming? 11 inch ultraportable? Crysis at 50fps? For 799? Yes please! Is there anything more capable for that price?

yes, $799 us dollars.. except of course across the pond in the UK dell are ripping the arse out of us and selling it for £749.. £250 more expensive than the US. what i plan to do is get family members to buy it for me in the US and get it shipped over.. thanks dell, you annoying pricks

there is a laptop called the ASUS G73JH...i suggest getting that it is cheaper than the envy and has the best specs on the market...about $1550 without blu-ray

i saw a rough prototype from msi that really interested me. It looks like a cross between a "courier" and a macbook air. It folds like a laptop, has a 2- 10 inch touchscreens and runs win7. the bottom one acts like the lower half of the screen but also has a virtual keyboard that you can pop up and us it like a laptop.
