there's a cheat i discovered where you use one tool to scratch 4 times in a sensitive spot (eg. legs, stomach, arms) and then tap four times then switch to another tool, scratch and tap like before, then switch to blowing four times. this will almost always change the witches pose and if it doesn't choose another sensitive spot. doing this i can find the mark in about 1 min or less. btw the sensitive spots change for each witch.
