It is not my intention to demean your skill or anyone other's for that matter but, why-oh-why do so few people actually fight the computer players on mugen on the "computer fight like a retard" dificulty? Ok, zero's gold, so? Come on dudes, gimme Hard 9 bosses, it's not like they require a Ph.D to take down. The real bastards are in the arcade ladder most of the time anyway. Again, not implying anyone's not good, just that most movies of mugen are on a very low comp skill lv as far as i've seen.

Nah, ppl like SF over KOF cz KOF fighting styles get way too bizarre and unrealistic. Goenitz and Zero has no fighting style, they just use powers. SF has a good mix of both without going overboard on any of them.

haha, yeah bizarre seems like a very un fitting description for video games, lol. what kinda styles do the SFs have, anyway? all of these fighting games characters are based on some sorta martial arts with animated game twists to them in order to make it flash and fun to watch.

the reason why KOF is the MOST loved fighting game in Asia is becuz it's real skills with lots lots lots practice, unlike SF, just punch and kick; u dont see many asian kids play SF. KOF is the REAL deal, SF is LAME.

u say "ppl like SF over KOF", which is only half true as it is ONLY more popular in NA, AUS and Europe, NOT in Asia cuz frankly very fre White ppl (including myself) simply can NOT pull off these very technical moves. if u put KOF and SF side by side, u'll see how LAME SF is. it should be rated for 10 and under. haha

Why would "bizarre" be unfitting? It's pretty appropriate for KOF I think. All their characters have such unrealistic moves, just look at Magaki, Igniz, Zero, Goenitz, Higashi, Krizalid, Orochi....The thing is they show little to no realistic fighting at all...It's just powers, that's it! limited basic ounch and kick moves, all magic and powers.

Agreed they both have some kind of twist, but KOF takes it miles too far. SF has a a good combo of both realistic fighting style and powers.

I take a different view on the "powers" issue. I enjoy watching them and they generate a lot of replay value for me. I also believe in utilizing imagination rather than stagnating it. But I am an SF fan as well.

SF is good fighting styles, u see the characters mixing it up with good fundamental skills like punches, kicks and throws. You can see the fighting styles when they move. They do use powers but they don't go overboard. Look at this fight, show me anywhere in this fight where it's even remotely realistic. It's all just supernatural powers and magic. Where's the "fight"?

Oh and I did compare SF and KOF and frankly I think they're both good games, but SF is MILES ahead of KOF.

If what u say is true, then SF is more globally accepted than KOF, which seems right. It's not because of how technical KOF moves are, because I'm Asian and I have difficulty doing complex moves.

SF is more widely accepted because it's BETTER and FUNNER. Did u ever think of that? I mean it is a game after all.

SF is not easy, if u ever got into it, u would know. That's where the challenge and the fun comes from. They play because some form of realism is important in a fighting game.

I know if this goes on, then we can only express our opinions, not facts. I think SF is way better that KOF and u think otherwise. No problem.

I can do many of the KOF moves easily and I'm white. I will admit I have difficulties with characters who utilize wrestling styles but those characters aren't my cup of tea anyway. I only play video games for enjoyment and escapism, not for trying to be a top player.
